            I purchased a senior phone for my Mom. Sadly, she passed away 35 days later. I knew the Alzheimer's store had a 30 day return policy, but given the situation and considering the large expense of the phone, the fact that it is useless for any one else in my family, and the fact that it was only 5 days out of the 30 day period, I hoped that a refund or even a partial refund could be considered. The answer was flatly no. However, since they are a "philanthropic organization" they suggest I donate the phone. This business exists to make money off of people who struggle with dementia and related medical problems. It seems to me it's only reasonable that they would have a heart and display kindness towards family members. Not a chance. So, BUYER BEWARE. This company is heartless!

            UPDATE: 1/22/2024

            After emailing back and forth with the retailer they sent me out a replacement watch for the one that was broken upon receipt. So pleased I wasn't out the money I spent on the product.

            1/12/2024:

            Bought a watch from them that's supposed to speak the date and time and it doesn't work. They refuse to do ANYTHING with it because it's been past 10 days of purchase. It's got a 1 yes manufacturer warranty and was a Christmas present for gosh sakes. Very poor customer service and quality of product.

            We have offered to replace the item even though defects must be reported within 10 days of delivery. Since it was a gift, we extended the exchange policy, but the customer refuses to return the item for a replacement. They are insisting on a refund without retuning the item. Defective items are replaced as an exchange and returns must be made within 30 days. Since the customer is refusing to return the item, we cannot inspect it or offer a replacement or even a return. This is clearly stated in our policy and is typical among many online store.
