Persistent spam email invites to webinars. I have sent numerous emails requesting to be removed/unsubscribed from their database for almost 2 years now. I have made more than 30 requests. I have even reached out directly to several members of their management team. They continue to violate the CANSPAM ACT.Additionally, the company uses unprofessional practices of continually sending emails from new or different emails domains that prevent their emails from being blocked or successfully being unsubscribed.I never subscribed in the first place, but once you are on their email list, good luck getting them to stop.A quick search reveals similar complaints from others who've faced the same relentless spamming. It's appalling to note that TechTalk Summits, LLC seems to consistently offer responses that downplay or deflect responsibility rather than taking meaningful action.

Persistent Spam Issues - Proof Available! I am compelled to share my frustrating experience with TechTalk Summits, LLC regarding their persistent spam emails. Despite my numerous requests to unsubscribe, a problem that I first raised in April 2023, the issue remains unresolved. What's particularly concerning is not just the repeated spam, but the apparent lack of accountability on TechTalk Summits' part. I have clear documentation, including screenshots, demonstrating my efforts to be removed from their mailing list. These screenshots serve as proof of my attempts and the ongoing problem. Equally troubling is the fact that my situation appears to be part of a pattern. A quick search reveals similar complaints from others who've faced the same relentless spamming. It's disheartening to note that TechTalk Summits, LLC seems to consistently offer responses that downplay or deflect responsibility rather than taking meaningful action. I find this lack of transparency and accountability deeply troubling. As a consumer, I expect a company to respect and promptly address requests to unsubscribe. TechTalk Summits, LLC has fallen short of these expectations, and I hope that potential clients are made aware of these issues before engaging with them. Given the evidence at hand and the shared experiences of others, it appears that the business's responses may not accurately reflect the reality of their communication practices. I advise caution when considering any engagement with TechTalk Summits, LLC until they demonstrate a commitment to resolving these issues.

Thank you, ****** for your feedback and for working with our team to rectify the problem today.

As mentioned, our team works globally with hundreds of thousands of people and email can be very loaded. By offering suggestions as to why unsubscribes may not take effect we are not failing to take accountability but simply offering solutions that may help to get to the bottom of these issues. We take CAN SPAM and unsubscribes very seriously and all of our correspondence has clear and concise instructions to be removed. Offering the option that people may have forwarding to their inboxes is not making an excuse but is more often than not, what ends up happening.

Also as mentioned in our interaction, I searched your email in our general inbox and had received no correspondence from you to any of the contacts forms listed on our site but I appreciate you forwarding the screen shot of the email you sent and I worked with our team immediately to make sure you were removed.

As you will see from the few complaints we have received, we are quick to respond and work immediately to rectify. We are not selling anything in our invitations to complimentary virtual events. We have absolutely no malicious intent and value and respect your time. I hope that you are satisfied with the timeliness and manner in which we worked to rectify this privately off of this site. You have been removed from any and all correspondence with the email address you provided us and should hear nothing from our team moving forward. Should you ever decide to join an event in the future we would love to have you and you know where to find us! Thanks again.

We do not send spam and we honor unsubscribe requests. When complainant requested to be removed, we at that point removed him. If he was not anticipating our email invitation it is likely that he either received it in error or has forwarding to his inbox from another employee previously in his organization, etc.

Our team has confirmed that he has been removed from our database and also contacted him to see if he has other email addresses that are directed to his inbox. We are completely CAN SPAM complaint and honor all requests to terminate communication, per FTC Guidelines. I will personally contact complainant as well to ensure that I have all of the email addresses that arrive to his inbox and that none are on our contact forms.

Thank you for your attention to this.

      Complaint: ********

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: The respondent lied in their response.

The first lie is that I have been removed from their spam marketing emails.  I have submitted another screenshot that shows I continue to receive their spam marketing emails, with the most recent received on 11/20, proving the respondent is wrong and that I have not been removed from their mailing lists.  My email address has not changed and is the original email address from which I initiated the complaint.  I made numerous attempts to be unsubscribed from their spam marketing emails over several years yet continue to receive their spam marketing emails.

The second lie is that the respondent claims they "have contacted me to see if I have other email addresses" but I have not been contacted by respondent or the anyone from the company except for continuing to receive spam marketing emails.

Additionally, the company uses unprofessional practices of continually sending emails from new or different emails domains that prevent their emails from being blocked.  As you can see from the new screenshot, the spam marketing email was sent from "****@ttsummits23-q4.com", which clearly is a throwaway domain meant only to defeat spam filters and continually harass people targeted by their spam campaigns.

      Sincerely,

      **** ******

I request to retract and/or update my previous response submitted on 12/15.

Upon closer review of the respondent's message, I cross-referenced the date it was submitted and compared it to the date of the most recent spam marketing email I received and noticed the response was after the spam email was sent, therefore I have not received a spam marketing email from the respondent since.  Additionally, after further cross-referencing I saw that I had in fact received a non-marketing email from the respondent that was in my junk folder (only discovered by searching using their exact name).

However, I stand by my statement that the business uses unprofessional practices of using throwaway email domains to defeat spam filters and that numerous attempts to unsubscribe from the spam marketing emails over several years have been unsuccessful, which is a violation of CAN SPAM.

I believe that the summation of my experiences and the great extent that I have gone through to get removed from these spam marketing emails is a testament to the company using unacceptable business tactics to harass individuals

Given their reliance on spam tactics, one is left to conclude that this organization must can only conclude this organization is a scam and/or bottom feeder organization. For several months, well over a year, I've been receiving monthly calendar invitations for Tech Talk meetings. I have no clue how I landed on their distribution list and despite following their instructions and submitting multiple requests to be removed from their distribution lists - along with personal pleas to their Managing Director, I've continued to receive their mails. I ultimately realized they are changing their send-from email every month so if you request removal from one list, you default to their next list... which only confirms they are a spam machine and not playing from an honest or legit sign up list.

We take unsubscribe requests extremely seriously. Our management team has called Mr. ****** to ensure him that his email address had been removed. If he is still receiving messages that he did not subscribe to, most often this is a result of forwarding to his inbox from another email address. Once we discuss. All of our unsubscribes are compliant and universal and there is no pour-over. We have multiple email addresses that we use for marketing because we have multiple different formats of events and multiple different sponsors that we represent. The correspondence he has received from us begs no action from him, is not a sales pitch and is rather a completely complimentary event centered around education prevalent to his field. An upwards of 400 of these events happen a year and we are a completely legitimate organization.

We are more than happy to help him get to the bottom of why he is continuing to receive messages from us if he has requested to unsubscribe. Our team is response, friendly and fast-acting. Contact has already been made to resolve this issue and we are confident that, with his cooperation, we can get to the bottom of it and rectify it.

      Thanks for your help!

This company is in constant violation of the Can-Spam Act and has been reported to the FTC. They send calendar meeting invites to email addresses for sales pitches despite unsubscribe requests. Their unsubscribe link also does not work. They get around blocking by using different email addresses for their founder, **** H****. I have unsubscribed four times: on June 20, 2021; March 4, 2022; June 4, 2022, and today, February 13, 2023 and filed complaints directly with the company with no response. The company sends me emails from: ****@ttevents-info.com ****@q1techtalkregister.com ****@techtalks-18.com ****@ttsreg-dec22.com And these are calendar meetings that take up time on my calendar. Is there anything that can be done about a company like this?
