Vehicle was presented to me with a brand new state inspection, the Ad stated 'ready for a test drive' and the salesman told me to bring it to an associate for a new sticker after registering the vehicle. I drive it off the lot. Check engine light came on. 5 days later I am at a large reputable dealership to service a recall and perform a new safety inspection. They uncovered about 10k worth of work required to pass a legitimate safety inspection. According to Maxwell's owner and his attorney, this can happen within the first 500 miles after leaving the lot: Right Front Torsion Bar, REJECT. Left Front Torsion Bar; REJECT. Excess Camber/Caster Toe-in, REJECT. Defective Steering Binding, REJECT. Power Steering Deficiency, REJECT. Defective Brake Hose/Tubing, REJECT. Exhaust Leak Cracked Manifold, REJECT. Inspection Fraud is a serious crime in New Hampshire. They are refusing to refund my $2200 on the claim that I canceled the deal. This is false. The finance company did not release the money to the dealer due to the above stated issues. The dealer insisted I give the vehicle back and threatened police action on multiple occasions. They cancelled the loan so according to the language of the purchase agreement, they owe me a FULL refund.
