      Attempted to purchase 15 passenger van from "The Car Guys" 147A Plaistow Rd. Plaistow, NH 03865 Bill and I sign Vehicle Purchasing Agreement 5/23/22 Deposit for $5000 Check # 5464 Agreement reads, " In the event the Consultant cannot produce the vehicle" "If Consultant cannot accomplish the agreement, the Consultant will return the deposit." 5 months have past, he sent 1 picture, with no response. I have reached out 20+ time, no response. I informed him in July, I purchased a vehicle on my own, and want my deposit back. No Response.

      On May 27th, 2022 I entered into a purchasing agreement with "The Car Guys", specifically Bill P*********, and provided a $4000 deposit. The agreement was to last through August 26th, 2022, at which time if they were unable to find the vehicle for me, my deposit would be refunded. When contacted, Bill said he would call me back after labor day weekend to arrange transfer. No call from him, nor has he responded to e-mail, text or voicemail.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 18007194, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The business issued a full refund and at this point has fulfilled their obligation to me.  Thank you to the BBB for your assistance and to the business in question for a positive and satisfactory response to the complaint.  I wish the business in question well in their future endeavors and hope that this situation does not arise for them again.

      On Aug 28, 2021 I traded in my 2013 Honda for a 2018 Toyota Highlander and paid cash $20,000 plus the trade in value Extended for my Honda to this company. The total with tax and the extended warranty was $39,000 with the trade. Since I purchased the SUV, the Dealer (The Car Guys) never provided the title ( after months of saying he would send to me). He claimed there was some issue with a company he deals with that maybe finances his purchases. He never would say what the exact problem was. and was never available to discuss in detail why there is no title and what was the process to get it.. He would only text me to say he would resolve and he would be get the title. He never answers his phone. His voice mail box is full. I have been only able to connect via text. The last contact was a few weeks ago when he said he had a meeting with the lawyers and he would definitely get my title. I have not heard a peep from him since, Also, he never provided the extended warranty papers which I purchased for an additional $2,000

      I met with Bill P********* at my home on May 27, 2021 to find me a 2020 Mercedes 300 glc. I gave him a deposit check for $8,000. Bill also agreed to buy the car I was currently driving to use as a trade in, I have previously worked with Bill in 2012 and he found me the car I wanted and we purchased it at that time without any problems. Over the course of the summer and into fall I had some conversations but mostly left voice messages with Bill about finding the car and agreed to expand the color options and told him i would also willing to pay more than the initial price I had given to buy the car, I did this twice and also asked him to look at the Audi q5 within the same price range, Bill has three phone numbers but only 1 of the numbers accept voice messages I also sent Bill a couple of emails with no response. I have left multiple messages with no call backs and started keeping track of the phone messages I left for him beginning in January 6, 2022. Called him again Jan 9th, Bill called me back on Jan 10th and i missed the call. Within 4 minutes I called him back on the same number he called from with no answer and again left a voice message. I called again on Jan 19, 21, 31, Feb 13 and again on Feb 15 with no call back and with each of the messages I told Bill that I wasn't satisfied with his service and wanted my deposit of $8,000 back. I finally decided to purchase the car I was looking for myself which I did on Jan 26, 2022 and my mechanic purchase the car I was going to trade in with Bill. I know Bill has been dealing with a personal issue and I wanted to resolve this directly with him but due to his unresponsiveness I am reporting this to the BBB for their help in resolving this issue for the return of my $8,000.

      We paid $34,000 cash, 5,000 trade allowance for a used vehicle and have not received the title or updated temporary plates for 30 days. We have been unable to reach the business owner Bill P********* for over 30 days. We have also filed a complaint with the NH Attorney Generals Office.

I cancelled this Agreement on October 19, 2021. I first informed you of this Agreement cancellation on October 19th, 2021; you acknowledged my communication by responding 8 minutes later; saying that you would call me that evening. You did not call me that evening. I contacted you via text on October 25, November 3, 4, and 11. I called your phone number ***-***-**** on November 3, 4 and 11. I called your phone number ***-***-**** on November 4 and 11. I called ***-***-**** on November 21. I left messages when I could, otherwise received "Mailbox Full" notifications. I have not received a response to any of this communication. Please know I **** be in the market for a sports car again and would like to use your services. By all other accounts, you have been very helpful to people. I hope this lack of response on your part is just circumstantial. I look forward to a quick resolution to this matter.
