I had a breast augmenttaion removal of old implants (also purchased with Atlantic Plastic Surgery back in 2015 approx) and purchased new smaller implants on 09/30/22. I had requested that my old implants be returned to me and was told by Physician Lawrence G*** the morning of my surgery that he would hold them aside to be returned to me on my first follow up appt after they had been sterilized. On 10/7/22 during my follow up, I was told that they could not locate them and would continue searching for them and would have for me on my 2nd follow up appt 11/3/22. On 11/3/22, I was told yet again that they could not loacte my property and that They believed that a "Sherri", who was not in the office that day, had them and I would have to call on Monday 11/07/22 to speak with her. I called monday, 11/7/22 and this "Sherri" was unable to answer any questions, stating that she did not have them and that they must have been "Disposed of" because they were not picked up. I questioned her on why I did not receive a call before they "disposed" of my property, especially seeing no one could ever locate them. All I got for an answer was "I don't know." In 2015, I purchased the new implants (800cc) in question for approx $3,000 (solely for the implants) and then the additional fees for surgery and such. They were my property and I wanted to verify that what was put in my body on 9/30/22 was removed and replaced with the smaller implants 545cc. I wanted to prove that the replaced 800cc implants serial # matched the registration card and that the new supposed 545cc implants that I just paid $6700 was factual, seeing that my new size is the same, shape is the same... Nothing has changed in my appearance so I feel like I paid $6700 for nothing and the implants were never changed out. Their excuse that they disposed of my property accidentally means I have no way to verify the truth unless I pay an additional $6,000 to have current implants removed.
