On 11/26/21 I purchased an Ariens ST32DLE snowblower from Turf Depot aka Granz Power Equipment Salem, NH for the amount of $2,899. I did so with hesitation as I had previously owned an Ariens snowblower in 2016 that failed after 10 uses. I was ensured by the salesman at Granz that Ariens had changed their engine manufacturer and they very rarely see any engine issues with these units. I purchased the new unit on 11/26/. I used this unit for two extremely light storms in December 2021 and in the beginning of January, I used the snowblower for roughly 6" of snow. The unit failed halfway through my snow removal and after bringing this to Granz I found out that the engine had failed and would need to be replaced. At this point, I have been without a snowblower for well over a month and have to pay for plow services in the meantime. I have no faith in the Ariens brand and I would like to have my money refunded so that I can purchase a different brand. I spoke with both Ariens and Granz and have been met with no options other than repairing the unit.Business response

We made every attempt to rectify the issue but in the end the machine was in need of repairs that should not have occurred on a new machine. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to our customer. thank you.
