I am still very disturbed about not receiving the other half of the refund. I only received half the refund which is wrong. The former manager who used to work there was very disorganized and he did not make any effort to process the other half of the refund on time, because of his ridiculous excuses. He terribly messed up my international package. I feel that the UPS franchise owner and the UPS general manager were not paying any attention to the problems for what his employee, the former manager, did. I lost a lot of money and I don't have any trust with that business, anymore.Review from Gena S

Severely overcharged. I mailed an item for my husband that weighed 3 lb 11.3 oz, was 16 inch round in diameter and needed no extra insurance. I was told by the clerk that it needed a box diameter of 21 x 21 inches to include bubble wrap. I was charged 117.80 to ship from Salem, NH to Rowlett, TX, 19 miles outside of Dallas. I was also charged an extra 23.75 for the packaging for a total of $141.77. My husband complained when he saw the receipt because the previous week he had shipped two boxes over 24 inches in diameter weighing 25 lbs each with $3000 insurance to Colorado from the UPS Store in Plaistow, NH for a total of $192.82. When I called the Salem store to complain that it seemed I had been overcharged for the shipping, the representative said that it was due to the box size and the distance it was traveling. I explained that I had shipped something much larger, weighing much more and traveling approximately the same distance from the Plaistow Store a week earlier. She replied that the stores were individually owned so the Plaistow store probably has a different contract with UPS. Obviously, I will not be returning to the Salem, NH UPS store again.
