I purchased a tire wise contract for 84 months from patriot Nissan in July 2023 when I bought my Sentra. . I sold the vehicle 3/21 and cancelled the tire wise contract 3/22/24. I am supposed to get $374 returned to me. Its 5/30/24 and I am still waiting. They made a mistake and kept a claim open which they resolved, but at this point almost 10 Weeks after I cancelled I want my check!

With apologies to the customer, due to internal turnover in both our financing and accounting departments, the process was not completed on time, but has now been resolved, and a check issued. We confirmed that the contract should have been cancelled in March, it officially was on April 24th and had moved forward for payment, but that step was not completed. A check was issued on May 30, and we notified with a message to the customer that it has been mailed. We take ownership of the delay and appreciate the concerns of the customer. Sincerely, *********************************************

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because I  still do not have the Check and have been told several times that it was resolved, so I am sure you can understand my pause here to resolve it without the check.
I also am requesting the $50 cancellation fee be waived due to the stress and time I have spent trying to straighten this out.  *** spent many hiurs over the course of over 10 weeks

      Sincerely,

In our first response, we noted that the check was issued on May 30, and we would expect it to arrive no later than tomorrow. The second part is that it does take the 3rd party, Wise, 4-8 weeks to process the cancellation, and that is out of our control. We do believe that the customer was informed of that time frame. Note that we still accept responsibility for the late start that initiated this complaint, that has not changed.  Please note, it is Wise that charges and keeps the $50 for the cancel, and that they do not refund. That is also out of our control, but we would like to provide the customer with a $50 store credit, that can be used for any purpose, including service, parts, or accessories. We hope that ****************** finds that agreeable, for the reasons outlined. Sincerely,Patriot Nissan

Leasing a vehicle at Patriot Nissan, vehicle was in minor accident on October 19th. Airbag deployed. Cannot find an airbag anywhere in the country, and no estimate as to how long it will be. On backorder. This should not be my problem, and I think they should provide a loaner vehicle until mine is repaired. Their stance is they didn't cause the accident, and my insurance should pay. Car rental insurance covers half at best, and only covers a month anyway. Two months and counting is above and beyond what one should expect for a repair, and I would like a replacement vehicle provided by Patriot Nissan, and my lease payments suspended until I get the car back. Also reimbursement for Lyft rides and a month of renting cars at over $1000.

While the customer did lease the vehicle here , he did not bring it here for repairs. The vehicle was in a accident and the customer expected the dealership to just give him a rental car which the dealership is not required to do just because he got into an accident.  What I was able to do was get Nissan to cover the expense of a rental car and put a priority on the order for a airbag which the body shop is purchasing from a different Nissan Dealer. In no way shape or form was Patriot Nissan responsible for providing the customer a rental vehicle because he was involved in a accident. The customer is now in a Patriot Nissan rental that is being covered by Nissan USA.

I purchased a new Pathfinder from Patriot Nissan in desperation because they told me my Murano’s transmission was blown at exactly 101k miles and Nissan would not honor the 100k warranty. They wanted 5k to fix it. I later found out from Nissan they might have honored the warranty under their “goodwill program”. The dealership chose not to tell me about that. Patriot Nissan offered to put me in a new car with no money down instead. Car is a lemon. Many problems with engine and transmission, Bluetooth and windows, rugs peeling back, car shakes and rattles like my Grammy. Brand new. Nothing has been repaired although the car is under 2 separate warranties at this time. Additionally, as we have all seen incessantly on TV, Patriot Nissan guarantees “Unlimited time, Unlimited miles” on any car you purchase from them, for as long as you own the vehicle. I have found the reason they offer this generous warranty is because they never intend to allow you to use any warranties at all. Every service visit will be met by someone telling you nothing is wrong with your car or what is wrong with your car was somehow caused by you and therefore not covered under warranty. 12 months into this new car I failed safety inspection and now cannot drive the car at all, despite payments still needing to be made. Patriot said reason for failure was one front tire was worn just below regulation. Problem is those worn tires should have been on the back of the car because I had recently paid for a tire rotation. Back tires look great because they were never rotated. If tires were rotated like I paid for, I would not have failed inspection at all. There would be no uneven wear. Not to mention, Dunlop tires should be good for 50-100k miles according to Dunlop, so in no way should these new tires be worn in 12 months/30k miles. Won't cover damages, won't prove my Murano transmission was in fact blown, enticing me to buy this car. Consumer law violations with promises made not kept

      Good morning *******
We have had an extensive relationship with Ms. ****** She traded a car in with severe issues and purchased a new Pathfinder. At her last service she was advised that the car needed tires as one tire was severely worn to the point of no tread left indicating a need for an alignment. With an all-wheel drive it is strongly suggested you replace at minimum the front two if not all tires. The job was approximately $1500.00 and as a goodwill gesture after several hostile conversations we offered to pay half. I was met with paragraph after paragraph of hostile accusations of fraud and underhanded behavior which we 100% deny. It has been to the point where the staff will no longer deal with this customer. I stand behind our decision to offer the $750.00 towards paying half the repair yet we prefer she took her business elsewhere after her threatening and hostile behavior.  Unfortunately, cars require maintenance, and it is an expense the warranty and the dealer are not responsible for. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
On another note please remove Bret C******* from you mailing list and direct anything in the future to me. Can you acknowledge receipt of our answer?
