My mother bought her car at this dealership last year and got into a car accident last September. It was brought back to the dealer to fix. After the engine repair, a radiator hose was left disconnected causing the engine to overheat on the highway. It has been a couple of weeks later and a ton of phone calls, the insurance company is denying our claim because the hose was not properly connected during repair and not operator error. It was discovered that the shop had a failure of workmanship. Instead of fixing the resulting damage, the dealership offered to put in a 12k mile used engine for $8700 in my 2021 RAV4 with 5k miles. Obviously not being at fault we are not willing to pay for their mistake. They did not offer a loaner car while the car has been sitting at the shop. There has been no updates and communication. It has been sitting at the shop close to two weeks, no resolution in sight.
