      On September 25, 2021, I bought an inground pool liner from Bemisters pool in Salem NH. I was informed I had to pay for the liner in total, and then it would be ordered, I paid $2,500 and put it on my credit card. I was told that my liner would be installed in the fall months of that year (Darren specifically stated by October). By the end of October, I hadn't heard from Darren (store owner). I began calling and looking for information. Come June of 2022 Darren called to tell me my liner was in and told me to get in touch with his contractor Tom and set up a date for Tom to come with his team to install the liner. This was a big job, as I had roots coming up through the liner which prompted the replacement. I had a water delivery scheduled for 10 am on June 17. Tom assured me he'd had the liner in and ready by that time. Unfortunately, Tom didn't come to the house to prepare the pool, as he had told me he would until 6 am on June 17. Tom showed up unprepared and had to leave and come back multiple times, he had crew workers taking a nap on our lawn and leaving our pool looking like the surface of the moon. The liner is full of pumps and craters that show even footprints left behind by the crew. There are indents in different areas, and the liner is already coming loose by one of the jets. When Tom came to see his work, he admitted he didn't have the right tools, and that he saw and understood our being upset by the final outcome. He agreed to take half of what he asked for because of how he left the pool ($750). He offered to come to fix the pool in the fall, however, I'm not interested in having Tom or anyone from Bemisters come work on my pool. The damage has been done. I'd like my money back to hire a crew to fix what Bemisters has done to my pool. I will need a new liner, I'm sure this one is damaged by all the different stretching ($2,500), water delivery ($1,200) as well as a crew to fix this mess ($1,500)

      We mistakenly used our positive experience when merely buying chemicals at the Bemister’s Hudson, NH location, to decide we wanted to have our liner replaced by them as well. We were directed to the Salem location for this sale. 1. Timeline...dates of install, lack of appropriate lead time to secure water delivery, etc....this led to more expensive water due to lack of lead time. We were notified on a Friday to drain our 32,000 gallon pool ( ourselves) and to personally secure water delivery at a specific time 3 business days later. Having already waited weeks, we did our best. 2. Wrong Liner design installed 3. Lawn Damage...serious damage done to lawn from van being driven on property. 4. Dangerous methods of install...one person in unsafe conditions. We personally had to watch over the lone installer to ensure his hydration, safety, etc and constantly monitor him for heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Basically working a shift for Bemisters and Pool Liner company, cleaning up vomit in the pool and monitoring for health issues. The night ended in calling 911 to have the worker safely taken to a hospital for heat related health issues. Darren was kept in the loop as the events of this evening took place. Again zero compassion or concern for the installer, he literally said “It wasn’t my fault he got heat stroke” and “Well, didn’t he come back after leaving the hospital the next day and get it done?” 5. Lack of appropriate response to calls/texts throughout the ENTIRE process. First contact was just shy of a year ago. Darren was quick to sell then quick to wash his hands on any responsibilities. Only in the very end did he make any attempts to remedy this situation- and even with that, his excuses are endless and his poor communication continued to the point that we just agreed to pay half the balance owed, keep the wrong liner and fix our grass ourselves instead of going through another round of chaos and losing a complete summer and being frustrated.
