Over the three years I have lived here, I have had to threaten to, and actually, withhold rent several times in order to get things fixed in the building. These are things required by law such as lighting in hallways and sink holes you could break a leg in right in the middle of a paved parking lot. Unfortunately, these "fixes" often do not last a full month. It is exhausting constantly having to do this. These people "fixed" the lock on a door 5x ignoring the light out right next to it. I have given up on proper lighting in this place because it is too exhausting and easier to just carry a flashlight on a keychain. Recently, the floor in my bathroom started coming up. I have asked them to fix it and seal it properly 3x. As you can see in the picture, it is still not fixed after maintenance has declared it "fixed" 3x. The maintenance supervisor says, "My idea of caulking and yours seem to be different... bathrooms shouldn't be wet... It doesn't need to be sealed." I and my husband work in construction and I can tell you a few things: 1) that floor was not installed properly and a straight edge was not used (that is why the floor is coming up), 2) yes, you need to seal and caulk a bathroom properly to prevent rot because, yes, bathrooms get wet, 3) caulking is not an "idea"; either you did it right and it's sealed or you did not do it right and there is no seal. It is not an art form; either you are protected from mold and rot or you are not. At this point I'm exhausted by these people and I just want to fix it myself and have my work deducted from the rent.Business response

Management and maintenance provided a walk through with *** **** on 8/18 and scheduled repairs in house & with vendors for 8/28. *** **** has been communicating with the office providing access to her unit & details so that all claims may be resolved in a timely manner.
