My problem with this establishment I had an reservation on October 8th thru the 9th I received a notice in my email that if I couldn’t make it there by 11pm to call them that the office was open 24 hours At 9:47 I called cause I was stuck in traffic on 93 and told them I wouldn’t be there by 11pm but was on my way and I was told I had to check in by midnight or they’d rent the room to someone else ok understandable I said I’d be there The accident on 93 that night was a fatal one so there was no way of getting through it by midnight at 11:30pm I called back and asked if my girlfriend could put it on her card cause she was 5 minutes down the road waiting for me and the clerk told me if she could get there within 7 minutes she could reserve it so I called ****** ****** and stayed on the phone with her and she was there within 5 minutes and they rented it to her and I was instructed to stop in when I arrived to get a pass to put on my dashboard which I did and signed it well the problem they charged her credit card $279 and Priceline and their sister company booking.com charged my card $226 for the same room for the same date so one of these establishments owes me some money and an apology cause the staff at Seabrook inn were very ignorant towards me and my girl Can you help me cause I don’t deserve to be treated like that at anytimeInitial Complaint

On 8/3 or 8/4 we called the inn and made reservations for 8/5. We arrived on 8/5 and spent one night, checking out the morning of 8/6. Upon receipt of our credit card statement there were charges for two nights. After contacting the inn by phone, they said we were a “no show) for the night of our reservation and charged us $237.62. They also charged us an additional $248.47 for another night. The credit card statement has the dates of arrival 8/3 and departure 8/4 for both charges. We have a receipt from the inn indicating that we stayed the night of 8/5 which is correct. At one point in a phone call they said their accountant would call us back.During another phone call they said a manager would call us back. That was Fri. 8/19, since then we haven’t received a call and they won’t answer the phone.Initial Complaint

On Sunday 08/15 my friend and I (both seniors), checked in for a 2 day stay. We were assigned room 207. When we checked out Tuesday , I got a receipt for $281.22. When checking my Discover Card acct I was shocked to see a duplicate charge. The desk clerk informed me they thought we had 2 rooms 207 &208 and that is when housekeeping discovered that the room had not been occupied. I call everyday and the owner, Mrs. P**** refuses to return both my calls and my money. I reached out to Seabrook police and officer ******* took my complaint and promised to follow up. The desk said he hasn't been there yet. I believe they saw 2 old men and hoped we would not catch their fraud. Crimes against the elderly should be taken seriously .Please take 5 minutes to call Mrs. P**** and tell her to refund my $281.22. Thank you. ***********.Business response
