On 2/24/23 I went to this business and had the battery in my cell phone replaced. They replaced it in front of me, and when he handed it back to me, the entire bottom 1" of the screen was cracked/spidered, and had cracks going up the entire screen. It wasn't broken when I handed it to him. I thought that he had just cracked the outer screen protector, so I asked him if he could replace that. He took the old one off, but the cracks were on the cell phone screen, not the outer screen protector. He replaced the screen protector, and offered to replace the actual screen for like $75. He broke the screen, and wanted me to pay for a new one? I was charged for the battery, and for the screen protector. I couldn't even believe it. I contacted Apple for a repair price, and they said that it would cost $149 if it was just the screen, and if it was the inner part also, it would be over $300. This business should be responsible to replace my screen, they broke it. If I cannot get this resolved soon, I'm going to file a complaint in small claims court, to include all of the driving to bring this to get repaired.Business response

Rescue My Cell always corrects it's mistakes on the spot whenever possible. Had the display not been damaged before we attempted the repair and it were broken by one of our experienced technicians it would have been repaired at no charge to the customer. In this case there was screen damage prior to the battery replacement. The customer did not raise any issue with the tech as would typically happen should we have been the cause of the damage. Please check our reviews and posts from our countless happy customers who we bend over backwards for to take care of. We certainly would not have stopped at a screen repair if it were our fault in this case to keep a happy customer. I am sorry that this customer feels entitled to more then they paid.Customer response
