I hired Anything and Everything Home improvement to strip and install vinyl siding, vinyl soffit, aluminum facia metal and shutters on my home. Once the siding was installed, I noticed that the seams/laps on the wall at the main entrance of the house were facing towards the road and the entrance to the house instead of facing away towards the woods. This was also the case in the back yard where the seams are facing the deck. When I contacted Jesse the owner his response was it`s a matter of preference and the job is done 100% complete and 100% correct. The job was far from 100% correct as Jesse found out after I started explaining many other issues and sending him photos of the problems. It was over a month before Jesse finally acknowledged there were issues and I was finally able to get him to meet me and look at the siding problems. He admitted to me in writing that it was this crew`s first solo siding job. He did send another individual to correct some of the issues, but many were not addressed. They did not finish the siding or install shutters, soffit or aluminum facia. He also overcharged me by $214.00 on the invoice for the remaining balance he sent with no explanation. I will now have to hire another contractor to fix the remaining siding problems and items not completed remaining on the contract. Jesse had already told me prior to fixing any issues he was not doing the metal and soffit. Jesse has falsely accused me speaking in appropriately to his crew. I am prepared to address this under oath in court if need be. I have had minimal contact with his workers and was not even at home the last day they worked. I also have documentation from a representative at the *********** Company who are the manufacturers of the siding, regarding specs on how the siding should be installed and there are many discrepancies. I also have documentation from others stating the same. I would be willing to pay a reduction in the balance owed to avoid settling this in court.Business response

I Jesse B****** as the owner take 100% care of any complaints for our company and try to resolve them the best we can.That being said, ****** wanted the seams on the siding facing the other way, we did have a new Installer and he installed everything correctly, however the laps should have gone the opposite direction. When I found out I asked ****** what his overall concern was as it was more of a preference in the area that it was. ****** was not happy with it so we sent another crew to remove the siding and re install his preferred direction. His main complaint was he could see the seams more from a me direction. There was no additional charge added to this.
When we were there he had a few other complaints with the siding. We addressed every single complaint. We did a full cleanup and inspected everything knowing ****** was going to be difficult.
We stand behind our work 100%. This was a job ****** called on in December to have done as he had a fire that ruined his previous siding: I told him we would squeeze it for him before the weather completely turned. We did tell ****** we would not be installing the metal work as it would obviously not be paid.
Again, we stand behind our work 100% and tried everything we could to fix any concerns.sincerely

Jesse from anything and everything Home Improvement came to the house today and we discussed some issues that still need to be corrected. He agreed to fix these issues. If he will send me a corrected invoice of $5,197.50 and we can agree that is what's owed I will write him a check. He says his work is 100% guaranteed so as soon as he fixes these last few issues I will withdraw my complaint.Customer response

The problems have still not been resolved. I paid the contractor in full to avoid having a lien put on my home and I am now waiting for him to come fix the issues we agreed on. I would like to keep this claim open and I will keep you updated. Thank you
