I entered a contract and gave a deposit on May 21, 2021 for a new metal roof on my home and garage to be installed February or sooner 2022. I was never notified by the company and I called them in January 2022 to find out when the installation was going to be scheduled at that time they told me they were behind by about two months because of weather and Covid. I asked why nobody had notified me or giving me the option to go with another company I got no explanation. I called back the end of March 2022 and was told that they are now delayed for months and I would have to wait until May 2022 to get my new roof possibly . Today I called the company because I noticed a leak in my three season porch and then told me that they wouldn't be able to come out to even patch the leak until next week there's nothing I can do about a leak in my roof until then? I asked if I was able to get another roofing company out here to do my roof if they would give me my deposit back they refused . With the understanding that my house was going to have a new roof in February 20 22 I had the gutters removed the house painted upon the suggestion of the sales representative to have the house painted before the roof was replaced and now I'm starting to have problems the roofing company is doing nothing to resolve these issues and they are delaying to come out a week for even a leak when we're expecting more rain . I would like my roof I would like it within the next week or two or I would like my money back that I gave for the deposit so that I can get a different company out here to get a new roof if I get my new roof I would like some sort of discount because of how long I had to wait and the potential damage I will have to repair because of the leak and anything that may come up because I've had to wait.Business response

We are sorry for your delay, When you signed your contract on May 21rst of 2021 your projected install date was the month of February of 2022, As you know we have had alot of snow, rain, and wind causing us to lose days, Every day lost turns into weeks. Because we buy our metal in bulk and the color you chose is a very popular color and in great demand causing back orders. We are working 7 Days a week now that the snow is gone. When you called Friday afternoon we explained to you the situation that our guys were already scheduled for jobs Saturday and Sunday and Monday Or Tuesday would be the day to put a tarp on your porch roof until our expected our next shipment of material arrives. Your material is already paid for so there is no return, We will promptly install your roof when the material arrives, Sorry for any delays as it is out of our control.
