I purchased a Marine Basic Module from M-I-R. Their FAQ page says I would hear from them within a couple of business days. After a few weeks of not hearing a thing, I attempted to contact them through email and phone. After silence from both, I looked up reviews of the business, on what few review sites there are. That's how learned that the business has been Administratively Suspended since 2017. At this point I have very little hope that my order will be completed or that the charge to my debit card will be refunded, but I need one or the other to happen.Business response

Ms ********** received an email response (Dec 20, 2022) less than 24 hours after receiving her email inquiry, a refund ($98.99 - Dec 20, 2022) of her purchase, and was issued a chargeback ($98.99 - Dec 21, 2022). We are owed $98.99.

I’m sorry to say, that unfortunately, you along with several other customers will be issued refunds, since we received a government order which completely eliminated our inventory.
We’re extremely sorry this occurred, and we were hopeful we’d be able to replenish our inventory to ship these orders, but unfortunately time has run out.
We will be processing you refund today, and will also be send along a reply to your order to include a $20.00 discount if you decide to order when the MBM is back in stock.
Again, we terribly sorry to have to be the bearers of bad news, especially at Christmas!

On your website it says to wait two business days after processing unless I'm contacted about the product being on backorder. It's been 14 days and I received no notice of a backorder.

On Oct 18, 2021 I ordered the Marine Basic Module online from Mission Information Resources, Order #****, I paid $89.99 for the Module and $10.20 for shipping, for a total of $100.19. This amount was dedicated from my account on October 19, 2021. Based on information provided on the Mission Information website, I expected to receive the Module within 1 - 2 weeks. It has now been over six weeks and I have not received the Module. I have left numerous voice mails with Mission Information (***-***-****) and have sent e-mails (****@m-i-r-.com) with no response. I would like to either receive the module I ordered soonest, or receive a full refund. Thank you.Business response

Consumer Response /* (2000, 10, 2021/12/17) */ I received the item I ordered (Marine Basic Module) from Mission Information Resources. Once Mission Information Resources contacted me, they were very helpful in resolving my complaint. Mission Information Resources sent me an older version of the Marine Basic Module because the updated version was still pending. I recently received the updated version. I am completely satisfied with Mission Information Resources response. My problem has been full resolved. Thank you.
