My car was hit in May 2021. I brought my car into Weston auto body to be repaired. I was in a rental until august, and was told back orders of parts was the reason my car took so long to fix. When I got the car back it started to gradually get a foul odor. It was a strong rotting smell that I could not find a source for. Eventually started hearing a sloshing sound and couldn’t identify the source. Brought my car to the shop in October for inspection and they discovered still water and mold throughout the entire back of the vehicle, quarter panel, spare wheel container, etc. The second shop found multiple areas that were repaired that was done wrong. The back welding was not aligned, the window that was supposed to be replaced per manufacture was reused, seals were missing on windows, bolts, break lights, paint was not matched, alignment of windows was wrong and impinging the door shutting. The full list of failures is at ********* ********* in north Hampton, or I can provide a copy of all the work they had to fix. I have had my car in the shop on and off since the accident. The car was brand new in April of 2021. The mold caused health issues for my family, one member who has cystic fibrosis. I’ve had to pay out of pocket for rentals. There is still mold in my vehicle and it’s in the shop again from things they are still finding that the shop botched. We cannot know the full extent of how badly they botched this repair. It’s been a massive out of pocket expense. Their response when I told them the issues was they would void the check I gave for my $500 deductible, but this has cost this second shop more than $9,000 so far to fix their messBusiness response

We asked the customer to bring to vehicle back for us to warranty the work. Customer said she had moved and a shop had quoted her @ $500 to reseal the window. We did not hear back from her. Per the estimate the glass was supposed to be reused per the insurance company. Our glass work is sublet out, as is the case in most shops. That was the last I had spoken to Ms. *****. I did speak with insurance company a month ago, but they have not contacted me back with additional info. Please note we were also never paid the @ $6000 by insurance company for the original claim either, as we released the vehicle to the customer on guarantee that we would be paid.
