Inhabitable living conditions and no care for their tenants. While living there we had to deal with mice, roaches, smells, and so much more. Many of the tenants had the same issues and more. They had no compassion for our issues and only care about money. Constantly finding different ways to rip off the tenants, hidden fees, no negotiation, false promises, threats and impossible to deal with. The only plus was living by the beach but they spent all summer doing construction without explaining to us the extent of the project. We were told small repairs were being made.. next thing we know the whole courtyard is ripped out, no sidewalks, no way to enjoy the outside, garbage cans moved to another block, no parking spots, 8am workers digging for 3 month plus and no compensation for our inconvenience. They even raised some peoples rent through all of it, when they said they were going to leave they then said they wouldnt raise the rent. People are constantly moving out disappointed. They have no care for the tenant, we are just a paycheck to them. Buildings are old and infested, they just use spray foam to clog holes and hope to keep pests out.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! I have lived in various apartments throughout the country having moved around for work. This the first time I have dealt with such terrible people. I moved to ** to be closer to my family due to the recent and sudden loss of my 35 year old husband. I moved here hoping it would help me. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I moved in and started getting complaints from the management company about my dog barking. I have a 12 pound dog. I work from home, so I am with him almost 24/7. He would bark if people were talking outside of my apartment (normal dog behavior) and would stop after a minute. They ended up fining me repeatedly. Each fine was $175!I agreed to getting my dog training to try and work with them as I felt I had no other choice. I even sent them the paid receipts from the dog trainer. 2 weeks later, they fined me AGAIN and threatened to make me remove my dog (who is an emotional support animal). I felt so harassed by them that I ended up moving out and paying them a hefty lease break fee. I did this because I felt so unhappy and uncomfortable there it was making my life worse. Not shockingly, upon moving out they charged me $200 for not returning my parking pass (I NEVER HAD A PASS! I was given a sticker for the car). They also charged me for a stovetop replacement, yet I have pictures of it clean and in perfect working condition from the night before I moved out. I only lived here for 4 months! They are THE WORST management company. Greedy and horrible. I hope they are happy with how they treated a 35 year old widowed tenant.

I am unsure where to start with this review. The rental company was questionable as best when renting at ***********************************************. The maintenance staff would park in my assigned parking spot, not fix washer machines for months, claim work was done in my apartment (I have a camera and could see the staff never come) and plow my car in when it snowed. In addition, the staff claimed an exterminator came the last Thursday of every month yet again, on camera, they had only come three times in the entire two years I lived there once being when it was specifically requested. Upon moving out with another eight hours remaining on my lease, I was told by their staff I needed to leave immediately as they didnt have the time for me to stay and wait for me to pack up my stuff, violating the terms of the lease. In addition, hidden in documentation sent prior to moving in I had signed a document stating I would use a parking pass once received. The pass was stated to be left in my apartment prior to moving in, which it never was. I was charged $200 for this pass upon moving out and when attempting to rectify the fraudulent charge, my calls were ignored and the company attempted to gaslight be stating I had received it, which they have no proof of as the paper work signed stated it would be left in my apartment when I didnt even live there yet. The apartment itself was nice, especially the bathroom. However it was not worth it for the rent and lack of promised amenities along with terrible staff (other than the person who helped me move in and the other person who listened to my complaints, they were fantastic. *** I think was one of them). The rent, as I moved out, was a little under $1,900 for a 750 square foot apartment that was actually $2,200 unless paid on time. I would not recommend living here.

Unfortunately sometimes one event can really make you feel like the property management doesnt care about you. While they have been very good for most things, their policy on towing vehicles is unfortunate. The parking lot at 315 8th Ave is first come first serve with nowhere near enough spots for everyone, but there is one non-spot with enough room for someone to park a small to midsize vehicle. Ive seen hundreds of people park there in the last two years, never once witnessed someone get towed. I genuinely believed it was not an issue. There is a small sign a few feet above the spot that is not easy to notice (white sign on white building). Im not contesting the legality of towing my car, but considering everyone has their vehicle registered with management (if you lose the sticker they charge you an arm and a leg for a new sticker) and they seem very capable of communicating with us easily for other matters, even one SINGLE warning before towing your residents car would be a more conscientious policy and make us feel like you are not just a ruthless business. Im not talking about general spam emails about parking rules, since people constantly ignored those and continued parking in that spot, I mean an email or call to the person whose car it is, since you have that on file. That cant possibly take much longer than having them towed. This would make tenants feel like you actually care about their business. Im not even asking for three strikes- just one single warning would have been nice. So Im not reporting negligence or anything like that, just basically ruthlessness. Every other aspect of how they have run things has been 5-stars, but now I am more concerned about how they might throw the book at you for any slip up.
