      This is the worst customer service I have probably ever experienced not only in AC but anywhere period. I go there to check-in first off I can already tell the representative had an attitude not sure why. I gave them my id she told me I was not in the system and that booking.com has had 4 other customers before me with the same issue mind you she didn't even bother trying to help further with the matter she just told me call booking myself. Then I call booking.com they said they see my reservation and I go back to the front desk with the booking.com rep on the phone telling them I am good. The assistant manager I kid you not told me well you paid booking but I don't see you in my system I need to get paid. WHAT!?!? Who says that to a customer and that their manager? I spoke with every rep they had at the desk before getting to a manager I spent 2 hours trying to get it fixed and nothing they didn't even try to help! So booking.com found me another property which I paid for the same day and guess what I walked right into the resort and was booked into a room with no problems AT ALL! Thank god because the resort I ended up staying at blows showboat out the park. I think these people need to be coached on customer service and their systems need to be updated they are so behind in technology there it really is a joke. I would also like them to apologize for their attitudes and I want compensation for my time driving 3 hours and spending another 2 hours with them honestly they all should be FIRED!!

      Easily the worst experience Ive ever had in *************, possibly even the country. I placed a reservation for the go-kart racing track located in this establishment. When I went to check in, I was informed that their system wasnt working. That itself wasnt a problem, but what ensued was horrific. I proceeded to sign in on their kiosk ( as instructed ) and it would not go through. I tried numerous times and to no avail, I decided to seek some assistance from a staff member. The staff member would not help, and proceeded to tell me that it should work. After a useless 5 minute conversation, the employee called over another staff member. This employee had a harsh, rude, repulsive attitude. The worst that I have ever encountered. They proceeded to tell me that I mustve done the reservation wrong and that it would work otherwise. After 10 minutes, I asked the employee to follow me and make sure that I did it correctly. She reluctantly followed me and I input the correct information into the kiosk. After it would not work, I asked them what to do next. The worker said, I dont know. So, I asked them what can be done, and they said they cant do anything unless we sign in (which was not working on their end). I finally gave them a brilliant idea and asked them to just refund my money ( as one has to pay in advance for the go -karting if done online) and they did so. The refund process took about 40 minutes which was outrageous. In short, this place is a disaster despite only being open for a short amount of time. Dont waste your time reserving your spot on the racetrack online. It is better to reserve it in person which is a risk because there might not be any spots available.

      Refused to cancel reservation on phone. Said you had to email reservations for service. Did that for a week. Crickets. Zero response. Called back and this time they said it couldn't be canceled. They don't care. It's a scam. Once they have your $, it's over. *******************

      Apparently, all rooms at the Showboat have not been renovated. I booked a one-night stay there on 9/18/21 through Hotels.com. Once in the room, the first thing I noticed was that the furniture was old (scratched up) and dirty (specifically, the arms on the chairs). I had to call for hangers as there were only 2 in the closet. There was an iron, but no ironing board. The plug outlet covers were loose. Rooms that have not been renovated/upgraded should not be assigned to guests paying the rate I paid!

      My ************* recently booked a last-minute overnight stay through Priceline to stay at the Showboat in AC on 8/30. This hotel was chosen as it was one of the few that allow small dogs, but with a $50 fee. The small area that I had to walk my dog was 21 floors down and a hike past the hotel that was covered with dog feces, beer cans and dead birds. I tried to make the best of it as I have not been anywhere in the past two years like most people due to the current pandemic, however once getting onto the floor & in our room we were over come with urine scent which I get it is a pet stay floor, however the scent was unbearable to the point that I physically got sick. Upon attempting to settle in our room we noticed blood stains on the chair, rug and bathroom along with stains on the sheets, dozens of burn holes, broken furniture as well as an overpowering scent of urine. I then proceeded to the front desk to have my room changed and this room was not much better as it was right next to the maintenance room which was loud & you heard banging all throughout the night, everything mentioned above was in this room as well as receiving small bites on my ankles upon leaving which I did not have prior to our 4PM check in. I do have a video of the very loud AC unit which kept me up for most of the night along with the strong urine scent coming from under the bed. This was the worst hotel room I have stayed in in my 34 years but I could not go elsewhere as I did have my dog with me. I will definitely be contacting corporate for a full refund+. Do yourself a favor and go next-door to the hard rock next time they appear to be much more accommodating.
