On March 23, 2022 we ordered through the app for the Sonic Drive-In in ******* **. After receiving our order we realized an item was missing. When we asked about it we were told it was out and that if we wanted a refund we would need to go through the app because the store doesn't issue refunds on out of stock items. I called the ***** customer service number and was informed that a "ticket" would be submitted for a partial refund from the store which could take 7 business days. When we got home we realized several other items that we paid an additional charge for were also missing from our order. I submitted an online "ticket" regarding the missing items and requested that the charges for those items also be refunded. After a week of no response from the company I called to find out the status of my refund request. At that point I was told they do not issue partial refunds. I explained to the call rep that it's not right to take someone's money for a good or service, then not provide the good/service or a refund and that I wanted my money back. I was told my issue would be "escalated". After another week of no response I called again to find out the status of my escalated incident. I was again told partial refunds are not an option and that my issue would not be escalated because a refund absolutely will not be given. The call rep then suggested a $5.00 gift card. I explained that one of the items that was missing was over $7.00 on it's own, not to mention the other missing items. The call rep suggested a $10.00 gift card. I asked that the gift card be mailed to me since I don't want to use their app anymore. I was told the gift card would be mailed out within **** business days. The was in early April.Two weeks ago I finally checked my PO Box and there was no gift card. I, once again, called customer service about the missing gift card that should have been sent over a month ago. I was told nothing was sent and it would be escalated.
