      We signed a contract with Seidel Electric (S.E.) in Nov 2021 to install a whole-home Generator. The total amount quoted was $10,991.32; we put down $3,000 leaving a remaining balance of $7,991.32. We were told to expect to pay an addl $1,500 for gas line connection. S.E. proposed one ideal location for installation during the site visit. In March 2022 S.E.s recommended Plumber stopped by to review gas line servicing and was unaware of the proposed location by S.E. so we showed the location that was proposed to us; the plumber said that location was not in compliance. We shared this feedback with S.E. and were told that we showed the plumber the wrong location (issue #1). S.E. shows up the next day, unannounced to our home to identify a new location for install. This new location was only 10ft away from our gas meter; the plumber sends us a proposal for $3,157.36 ($2k higher than what S.E. quoted us) We call around and move forward with another plumber who charged $1,500. Our generator is installed on 7/29; we pay the remaining balance the same day which ended up being higher than what we were told $8,048.32 vs $7,991.32 (issue #2). The next day we notice our A/C unit isn't working (during a heat-wave). We had the unit inspected on 8/1 and was told the wiring from our generator installation was incorrect/disconnected the A/C unit - we paid $176 for this diagnosis and fix. We notified S.E. and still have not been reimbursed for the diagnosis fee. Lastly, our township inspected S.E.'s service on 8/2 and did not approve due to incorrect piping. We informed S.E. and it has now been 3 weeks with no update from S.E. on addressing the piping issue or the A/C unit issue, so our generator installation is still not completed. I called the inspector and he said S.E. told him his inspection report was wrong; since then he has not heard back from S.E. on addressing the piping issue. I have not heard back from S.E. with any update either.
