I purchased an Acura RDX on 02/24/2020 from Bridgewater Acura. I also purchase a 74 month AXIS Platinum vehicle protection plan with the *************** Contract # *******.I finished paying for the vehicle March 2024. I contacted the Finance Manager ************** and told him I wanted to cancel the plan and receive a prorated refund. I got the run around about all the documents the dealership wanted to initiate a cancellation. By April 2, 2024, I emailed all documents and correspondence to ********************************** I followed up the submission with a phone call to confirm receipt. Mr. ************ informed me that it would ***********-8 weeks to receive the refund. It is now the end of June, and I have not received the refund. I called Zurich **************) directly and provided my contract number. ****** informed me that they had not received the request for a refund until June 1, 2024. That's probably because I emailed ************** asking about my refund. To date, I have not received a response form ************, the finance manager. I believe that this delay is an unfair business practice. I still have no idea how much longer it will take for ****** to refund Acura and for Acura to refund my prorated refund. The finance Manager, **************, does not pick up my calls, or respond to my email. I need a resolution and I am not interested in delaying this matter any longer.Business response

Customer is right in this case. Refund request was made in beginning of April. ****************** sent request to our office on April 15th. Office Manager has been dealing with a short staff and apologized for client inconvenience. I have have check in my hand for the prorated amount of $789.72. Client will be called and check will be mailed out today. For the record, the $1199 was the purchase price. Car was purchased in 2020. Zurich dictates the prorated amount.
