We had filed a complaint in January 2022 against American Quality Remodeling Inc. [complaint ID ********].The complaint was about leaking windows that the company was not looking into. After filing the complaint they did send their technicians to inspect. We confirmed that the windows were installed properly and the housing was absolutely dry. But, there was water in the sashes. They also examined the other windows & confirmed that there was wind leaking in through the sashes. So this is definitely faulty manufacturing.The technicians who came to inspect confirmed that they would give their feedback & that American Quality Remodeling would need to contact the manufacturers to correct this issue and us to let us know when this problem is going to be resolved.It has been almost three weeks and we haven't heard back from the company yet.With all the wind leaking in, our heat & electric bills are higher than normal. We would really appreciate an early resolution.Business response

Good afternoon,
A technician from AQR met with **************** a few weeks ago. We have tried to connect with **************** in regards to a request from the manufacturer. I have called and e-mailed because we are currently waiting on a picture of the sticker that is located at the top of the window. This verifies which window and size for the order.
We would like to finalize the request with the manufacturer so the replacements can be made. I re-sent the e-mails today and attached the e-mail address provided here.
AQR is trying to rush this as fast as possible and prevent further leaking from happening.

I am rejecting this response because: There has been no resolution yet.We Spoke to ******* from AQR on February 8 and sent her the window sash production numbers for each window, as requested, immediately. We were told that those numbers would be sent to the manufacturers the same day. We haven't heard back from either AQR or the manufacturers since then. We do not know what the status of this issue is and when we can expect the window sashes to be replaced.

Good morning,
I believe **************** may be responding to an old reply AQR sent on February 7, 2022 in regards to a request from the manufacturer. **************** and **** spoke on February 8, 2022 about the request of sticker pictures from the manufacturer.
After the email arrived, *************** and **** spoke again. During that conversation the next steps were shared. The information required would be submitted to the manufacturer as soon as the phone call ended. If there were any further manufacturer details requested,AQR would promptly communicate with ****************. To date, the details were submitted and no further items have been requested. On February 10, 2022 we received an e-mail stating the claim was fully submitted. Once the pieces arrive we would be in touch with **************** to schedule a time to go out and replace them.

The replacements come directly from the manufacturer. We are helping facilitate this and requested a rush on the replacement pieces. This portion of it is out of the control of AQR. Part of the explanation was that it would take a few weeks for the pieces to arrive.**** has been keeping track of the claim. We arent given specific timeframes on arrivals of these pieces. However a rough guess would be **** weeks, possibly earlier. Again, we requested a rush but this does not come with a guarantee.
AQR has been taking the steps to remedy the issue for ****************. Our goal is to get the replacement pieces in,replaced and that this would remedy ****************** defect. We are waiting on the manufacturer for the pieces and will be in contact with **************** once they arrive.Sincerely,

We understand that AQR has submitted the details of the windows to the manufacturer and that it takes time for the pieces to arrive. Thank you for providing our Claim Number: 02389371.
But, as long as our problem is not resolved, to keep the case open, we will need to continue rejecting the resolution that AQR has to offer.
