      I ordered one delivery of Japanese snacks from Bokksu. The sent me an email saying that I had signed up for a subscription, which I hadn't. I contacted their support email. I got an email saying that my subscription was cancelled. Now I have an email saying they have me down for a subscription again. I don't want to subscribe. Please make it clear to them.

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion between our gift plan and the subscription plan. After reviewing your account, it appears that you selected a recurring subscription plan, which is why the renewal occurred. Our support team has assisted in canceling the subscription you signed up for, but as they mentioned in the communication, your most recent order had already been processed and couldnt be canceled. This means you will still receive that shipment as your final order, but no further charges or shipments will take place.

      We appreciate your understanding and are here to assist with any further questions or concerns you may have.

      This company recently bought out a competitor, ***** *****, and shut down most of that competitor's *****s. I had prepaid for one of the discontinued *****s, and their website FAQ gave me the option of receiving the last 7 *****s I had in one big package. When I try to go for this option, their customer service team says "oh, we can't do that because that ***** has been discontinued" while their FAQ continues to say that this is still an available option. I did not want a refund, but the product that I prepaid for months in advance, but despite asking for a supervisor, their customer service representative just refunded my remaining *****s (although this is not the option that I had chosen). Beware of starting a subscription with Bokksu, because if they're making promises to customers that they're not able to keep now, there's a chance it will happen again in the future with you.

      We purchased a gift box, and the card was declined. We purchased two more with a different email address, and the card went through. We did not sign up for a subscription. The next month, we received emails that we had 3 subscriptions, and they would all be sent soon. The rejected card was run again, and they started a subscription with that email address. We did not sign up for this. The second email and the 2 recipients of the gifts were also setup with subscriptions that we did not sign up for. I cancelled them as soon as I was aware, and let them know. 3 months later, we are still getting email asking for us to review them. After I finally left a one start review, we received 2 more emails letting us know that there was trouble with our orders (TWO) being delivered. There is no phone number to call, and the canned responses indicate that this company is a complete scam. Do not sign up for their service- even a gift. They will continue to charge your card each month.

      I received my box full of dust, hair, and small bugs. The entire box full of snacks had a foul smell with many items missing and some items even opened. I reached out to Bokksu and they said that it was opened at customs and that is why this issue occurred. They offered a $200 credit but that is less than what I paid for and I was unable to eat any snacks. On top of that, I was charged $120 in taxes and duties by the delivery company. I asked for a full refund as I had to throw the snacks away since they were gifts, there is no way I can give someone something that smells bad and has bugs on them. After a long time of waiting, they said they can't assist me with any compensation. I am not responsible for the goods I purchased before I receive them according to the law. I am demanding a full refund.

      Bokksu Inc utilized anti-consumer practices. I was charged for a 3 month subscription that auto renewed, despite me cancelling the subscription right after purchase. I notified them about the charge and that I wanted a refund, They refused and offered a partial refund. I refused the partial refund so they notified me a couple days later that they then shipped the product out in an attempt to subvert my attempts at a refund.
