Transaction occurred around July 21, 2022, I had called to have screening put on both front & back gutters of my home, the gentleman said he would get me an estimate soon, suddenly he came on July 21, 2022 telling me the price, I questioned him because I did not see an estimate or any other information. He showed me a picture of screening and said it was done a few days ago, I was home all that week & did not see a truck or company vehicle, or any workers here. I had no contract or had not given him permission to go ahead with the work although he quoted about $1400 for the job when he first came. Unfortunately I paid him by check the $1400 which I thought was very high, but because the work had been done I felt I had no choice. Then about less than 3 months had passed, I found a piece of the gutter screening down on the ground underneath the rear gutter area. I made repeated calls to the office to get someone here to repair such, also my landscaper noticed two of the gutter pieces overlapping on an angle. I called the company number on the paid receipt ************ on Wednesday the 19th of October, told ***** would contact me, he did not, I called again on Thursday the 20th was told one of the supervisors would call, he did not, then on Friday the 21st I called again told ****** would get in touch with me, did not hear from him either. My name, address, phone # isn't even on the paper work nor written an estimate. When I paid him he signed , just scribbled across it clean gut, install new scres, pd in full $1400., under Technician: scribbled initials I only wanted them to stand true to their work, fix it. My understanding is that this paperwork is not legal since none of my information is on the top. I feel I was totally overcharged and the job is was not done properly.Business response
