I bought a motor April 15th. They wrote me up and gave me a receipt for high comp motor, then gave me a low comp motor. I requested to be refunded the difference between the two. Say they knew better but I have definitive proof theyre wrong. **************** argued with me and told me my warranty was void for doing basic maintenance. Order# ****

Thanks for reaching out. We do not understand still what the issue is.

The engine ordered was the LOW COMP. We did not have any in stock and in order to resolve this we offered you a very similar, more expensive HIGH COMP engine. This change was agreed to and we even gave you the opportunity to choose from two engines.

Days later you reached out to ** stating the engine was actually a LOW COMP, which is what you ordered. So even if we made a mistake in identifying it then you got the engine your originally ordered.

Moreover, you stated that you removed the heads as part of regular maintenance prior to installation. This is not regular maintenance this should be done by a professional. There is never a reason to remove the head. Our policy very clearly states that removal of the engine head will automatically cause a void of warranty. Therefore, the engine is yours to keep.

I ordered (order #****) a motor and transmission from JDM Engine zone. Prior to the order I telephoned the company. They asked for my VIN and they said the motor and transmission would work; they guaranteed it. Once the items were installed the motor worked but the transmission did not. I emailed JDM Engine Zone; they provided one solution which my mechanic had already done. The transmission does not shift properly. The check engine light is on and at times the car must be turned off and back on to get the transmission to shift. I again emailed the company and advised them. They could not provide a solution even though I specifically asked for a manual, mechanic or guide to fix the problems. They simply told me it was working despite all the problems I had. In order to get the car running properly my mechanic had to remove their faulty transmission and put my original transmission back in. I believe this company is well aware these Japanese transmissions will not work in U.S. transmissions. Not knowing this prior I never suspected. After the fact I made inquiry with several JDM forums and learned these transmission are not the same. You need numerous other Japanese parts including the *** to get the transmission to work. These other parts were not provided.
