Hello,Good afternoon. Im making a complaint because I wasnt refunded the money I paid for an appointment scheduled for June 23rd, 2024, at 1 PM. I had an emergency, so I couldnt think ahead. They said it is non-refundable, which is ridiculous. If it had been turned into a credit to use next time, I would have been fine with it, but I received nothing at all.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction 4/8/2024. I went in for a massage at the facility on 3/8/2024. Before leaving the front desk staff asked me to pay then later talk me into signing up for a membership, the front desk staff was eating right infront my face and made it hard to concentrate as i was in a rush to get home i agreed and the registration fee was waved per the front desk staff. Once i realized i did not want the membership i tried to call the facility multiple times. i went in on 4/3/2024 to cancel the membership in person per their policy it has to be done in person and that i had to sign the termination forms. I went ahead and sat in the waiting room for about 10 minutes while the staff prepared the forms then i was given the forms but i ran into an old friend at the facility who works there and she spoke to me as i was signing . I got distracted and didnt realize there was a fine print where it states i would be getting charged for canceling before giving a 30 day notice. it was never explained to me either before signing up then again ** was hard to focus on someone speaking to you while they are eating. Once i saw the charge on my bank account i contacted the facility and they stated the manager ****** was going to call me but i never received a call. I waited over a week now from a call back from the manager and i am no where close to getting this issue resolved on my own.
