We had Dreamscape Design & Construction LLC tile our courtyard in the fall of 2021. That winter, many tiles lifted up to the point where you could trip over them. When we reached out to the contractor, he stated that this always happens the first winter and he would be back to fix it in the spring. This was never mentioned upon completion of the job. If this was really true, the appropriate thing to do would have been to let us know BEFORE the job was even started and to schedule us and all of his other new clients when spring came.Now, two years later, not only are tiles continuing to lift up they have started chipping where they rub against other tiles. The areas where tiles meet the lawn was so poorly done that there is terrible erosion and the bare sides of the tiles are now exposed and chipping. We already have one cracked tile, probably because the underlayment is bad. When we try to hose it down or when there is a heavy rain, the grout which is a black sandlike substance comes pouring out.During the job, his team was so incompetent that when they drilled holes for the rebar for the steps, they drilled completely through our foundation and into our basement, which he had to patch.As respects responsiveness, the contractor did come back just to look at the damage the next spring and said he would have his workers return to fix it. To be fair, we did have to wait some time before trying to arrange for him to come back due to outdoor work happening at our condo, When we finally started to reach out, he got back to us each time saying he was busy on other jobs or that the weather wasn't conducive and he would contact us when the weather changed. We had to reach back out ourselves numerous times. When the forecast was expected to be good, we reached out one last time and he never even responded. We weren't about to try to chase him down again and thats why we want to warn others.
