      On July 2nd 2024 I ordered a transmission for a 2000 ***** Silverado 3/4 ton pickup. I sent LDR Auto Parts an electronic check in the amount of $1868.64 (this amount included $250 for shipping and in the end NOTHING WAS EVER SHIPPED) as required before it could be shipped. I was told I would be given a tracking # for the shipment within a few days. 10 days to 2 weeks later I still had no tracking # or any information and every time I called I was given a long list of reasons as to why it had not been shipped and was still sitting in their warehouses. Excuses included the 4th of July holiday and even the weather including a Hurricane which did not even affect that part of **********. On July 17th I cancelled my order and requested a refund minus the $540 restocking fee they insisted I was liable for. I then received more emails saying my transmission was being prepared for shipment even after I had CANCELLED the order. I called again informing them that I had cancelled the order and was expecting my refund. Six weeks later I still have no refund and keep receiving answers to my email saying my refund is being process and "it takes time and has to go through management for approval". These are obviously stall tactics and I question if they have any intention of refunding my money. I also believe they had no intention of shipping the transmission. Unfortunately I paid them via an electronic check through my bank so they have had my funds since early July and are refusing to send me a refund in a timely fashion.

The process for handling and shipping the transmission involves several steps, including testing, cleaning, palletizing, and arranging freight. This typically takes 7-12 business days.
      On July 10, we informed you that the part was ready and had been palletized, and freight arrangements were in place. By July 12, the part had been picked up by our local truck for shipment. Due to limitations in our tracking system, we could not provide a tracking number at that time. We understand this lack of tracking information was frustrating.
      Order Cancellation: When you called on July 15 to cancel the order, the transmission was already en route. Unfortunately, once an item is in transit, we are unable to cancel the shipment. On July 17, you requested to cancel the order again. Our team communicated that the part was still in ********** and affected by weather conditions, which contributed to delays.
      Refund Process: On July 17, we discussed the possibility of a cancellation during shipment, and you agreed to cover the restocking fee. Subsequently, on July 22, we encountered delays due to a technical issue with ********* CrowdStrike, which affected our ability to update and process cancellations promptly.
      We requested that you sign a cancellation form, which was delayed due to a staff member's medical emergency. Once the form was signed, we proceeded with the refund process. Unfortunately, electronic refunds can take additional time to process. We are actively working to expedite this and ensure that you receive your refund as quickly as possible.
      Conclusion: We understand how this situation has been frustrating and we regret any inconvenience caused. If we had not intended to resolve this issue, we would not have engaged in ongoing communication with you. Rest assured, we are committed to finalizing your refund and will keep you updated on its progress.

      i ordered an engine for ******* i got no engine. i ask them to send my money back they do not answer there emails,phone,text still have not gotten my refund

      This shady business lied all the way through my terrible experience. They took $2300 for a used engine, after agreeing in email to $2100 (and I have proof). They then never shipped it and lied over and over, claiming that their trucking company doesn't provide tracking. Of course, it never arrived. I basically had to threaten them with a credit card claim to get refunded. They are dishonest scammers who should be shut down.

      First of all, we would like to inform you that we placed your order for an Engine - 2008 Toyota RAV4 on 14 Feb 2024 for the amount of $2,300.00. 

      On the very same day you have signed the order confirmation form for the same amount (we have proof as well). 

      After that you have requested us that you are getting the part in $2,100.00 from **** and we have matched that price in order to have a good relationship with you.

      After that we have refunded the amount of $200.00 and we shipped out the part but as you are very well aware that shipping take 5-7 Business days to get delivered. 

      But you need the part on a priority basis which cost us $700.00 for 1-day delivery and we always provide Free Shipping to our customer at a business/commercial address. 

      Since we are getting a huge loss hence we cancelled your order and refund your remaining amount of $2,100.00. 

      If you are claiming that we are scammers then please buy the engine/transmission where you are getting 5 years of warranty because those people are a real scammers and they will never refund your money as well. 

      If we would like to scam then we never take the amount through credit/debit card. 

      I hope this clears your doubt and if not you are free to buy the part from anywhere except us.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      These people are absolute LIARS. They never refunded the $200 and just charged $2300, without ever shipping the engine. When called out repeatedly (as they refused to provide tracking information), they then refunded $2300. They use fake American names such as ***********************, ************************* and ***********************. Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that they only refunded the $2300 after they were caught in the scam, as you don't refund something that's truly been shipped. This platform isn't accepting my photos, but I can email them directly as proof, if you like.

      LDR Auto ********** Advertised some used auto parts online on ****** search. Stating they had these parts with 87k miles, with free shipping. I gave them my credit card information and waited for the parts. I never could get a shipping tracking number, i never received the parts within the time frame. This was purchased in late August 2023, and **** September still no parts.So i cancelled the order and this company told my bank that they sent these parts. Lies, lies, lies. So my bank only recovered a portion of my money. I'm still out $1019.00 LDR Auto Parts says thats for a restock fee. RESTOCK FEE FOR PARTS THEY DO NOT STOCK. THEY BUY THERE PARTS FROM DISMANTLE YARDS, AND WRECKING YARDS FOR VEHICLES. SENT SOME TRANSMISSION WITH UNKNOWN MILEAGE, IN FACT AFTER TALKING TO THE WRECKING/JUNK YARD THE GENTLEMAN T.J. SAID HE WASNT EVEN SURE IF THE PART WORKED. MILEAGE CAN NOT BE GUARANTEED BECAUSE IT CAME OFF WRECKED CAR. SO WHAT MILEAGE IS LDR AUTO PARTS TALKING ABOUT. LIES, LIES, LIES, NOW LDR AUTO PARTS WONT ************* TO RESOLVE THIS THEY JUST FORWARD THEM TO THEIR V/M AND NEVER HANDLE ANYTHING. THIS COMPANY IS SCANDALOUS, AND DISHONEST. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, THEY FALSELY ADVERTISE PARTS THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE. I SPOKE WITH THE DISMANTLER'S AND THEY BUY THE PARTS FOR A FRACTION OF WHAT THEY SELL THEM FOR.       We tried to connect with you regarding the delivery but you never responded to our calls by the shipping team and when the trucking company reached your place then you never answered their calls as well. 
      They attempted the delivery thrice at your place but nobody was present at the location. 
      We have the email proof that we have sent multiple emails regarding the delivery but you never respond to our emails as well.
      When we emailed you regarding the order cancellation and the restocking fee, you have already disputed the transaction which was ultimately received by you.
      We never deduct a single ***** from your amount which you've paid to us for the order.
      People like you who tried to scam the business like us are not the one which any business is looking forward to doing business with.
