On advice of counsel, I am filing this claim before filing a lawsuit if necessary. I purchased a tire warranty 4/1/2019. I let the service **** know when I had my oil changed and tire rotation 6/26/23. I was assured my tires were in good condition even though they were over 4 years old. I went for another oil change and tire rotation on 1/11/24. I mentioned the slow leaks which were happing more and my son was concerned after inspecting the tires. ****** assisted me. ****** said warranty does not cover "wear and tear" but since I had been experiencing leaks for over 6 months it would be considered road hazard (I believe that was the terminology) ****** measured the tread and made notes on the computer which he showed me. ****** said since the measurement was on the "cusp" to come back in another 6 wks it would be over the measurement needed. Since it was winter I asked if my tires were safe since I drive every day and was told yes. I called in March to make the appt, ***** said ****** was no longer employed. ***** inspected my tire on 3/8/24 and told me my tires had "dry rot" and will not be covered and said he did not understand why ***** would say such a thing. ***** submitted the claim and it was denied cause the tires were "dry rot ". dry rot" does not happen in 6 wks as I was told by several tire svc ****s and my son looked into it also. I believe the terminology "dry rot" was injected in order for the warranty to be not to be covered. I believe the dealership Conspired to commit fraud against me, a woman and a senior citizen, protect classes and my safety was jeopardized. I NEVER used my tire warranty in the 5 years. Since I bought the car, the dealership was sold and the service **** keeps changing. The amount I'm asking for is the refund of the tire warranty $745.00 and the cost of new tires. I called the warranty co, convo recorded, ****** said a claim should have been submitted in Jan 2024. I filed a complaint with ********** complaint #9-12316230399
