On March 25,2024 I brought a 10k chain into Allure ******************************** to have it repaired . They told me to return the following Friday or Saturday to pick it up. They subsequently called the same evening I brought the chain into the store. They said it couldn't be repaired. I came in the next day and the chain was in pieces in a plastic bag. They told me it was put through a machine and it broke apart. They wanted to sell me a 14k chain with very little discount as a replacement,and to buy the pieces they wrecked. I wouldn't go for either and they wouldn't replace the one they broke.8Business response

Customer was offered a replacement, and offer was declined. we would like to extend the offer of replacement again. Please have the customer bring the 10k broken chain. It's unusual for chains to break in the repair machine unless they are too old or worn out. Have them ask for **** before they come, I don't work everyday and my schedule fluctuate.

I am rejecting his response. The owner's idea of a replacement is selling me a 14k chain with $40.00 off a $320.00 chain. You can't put a price on a sentimental gift from my parents. I didn't appreciate the owner communicating with his employee in his native language in front of me which I found very disrespectful.

We are so sorry to hear about the customers unpleasant experience. The chain was too old and worn out and couldnt bear the repair process. We offered a free replacement and the offer is still on. Please stop by anytime for a free chain. Just bring the old chain in order to match it.
The customer keeps on declining our FREE offer and keeps on claiming that we want to charge him. He will only be charged if he decides to upgrade to a bigger or thicker, or more sturdy option. I guess that was confusing or not clear.
Its a FREE replacement for the same exact chain. We are a family business for over 20 years and we always strive to do our best and satisfy our valued customers.Initial Complaint

Details: 3 carat diamond ring 18k gold setting Setting bends Paid roughly $6,000 total I want the setting refunded at market value Owner said he would pay the bill to have the ring fixed elsewhere.
