I ATTEMPTED TO RENT AN APT WITH THIS COMPANY. i WAS TOLD I WAS APROVED AND TO PAY MY DEPOSIT. i WAS SENT A LINK TO PAY MY DEPOST AND I PAID IT. i WAS ASKED BY THE OFFICE MANAGER TO BRING MY ID AND SS# CARD BECAUSE THE DIGITAL COPY IS SENT WANT ENOUGH. I COMPLIED. THEY ASKED ME TO PAY THE RENT TWO WEEKS BEFORE I CAN MOVE IN. I TOLD THEM I WILL NOT AND I WILL PAY IT THE *** BEFORE THE FIRST OF THE ****** THE OFFICE MANAGER ********************** ME AND SPOKE TO ME AS IF I WAS AN IGNORANT CHILD. AFTER GIVING HER MY DOCUMENTS SHE SAID SHE WILL SEND A EMAIL CONFIRMING THE APARTMENT WAS OFF THE MARKET AND IT WAS MY APT. AFTER LEAVING SHE INFORMED THE PERSON WHO SHOWED ME THE APT THAT SHE WAS NOT GOING TO RENT WITH ME. THAT PART WAS COOL BUT WHEN I ASKED FOR MY MONEY TO BE RETURNED SHE TOLD ME TO TAKE IT UP WITH MY ****. FAST FORWARD TO*** ITS BEEN A MONTH AND A HALF SINCE I WAS DENIED THE APT. I DISPUTED THIS MATTER 8 TIMES WITH MY **** AND EACH TIME BENJAMIN H REALTY REPORT I RECIEVED MY SERVICES AND THE DISPUTE WAS CLOSE. TO*** ****** REPORTED THAT SHE RESOLVED THE MATTER WITH THE **** THE *** PRIOR BUT SHE IS NOT BEING TRUTHFUL BECAUSE PNC ADVISED ME THAT I WILL NOT BE GETTING MY MONEY BACK AND I CAN NOT DISPUTE ANYMORE. SWHE REFUSED TO ISSUE A CHECK TO ME FOR MY REFUND AND CONTINUE TO DISPLAY RACIST BEHAVIORS TOWARD ME AND MY HOMELESS SHE CAUSED.Initial Complaint

Me and my wife moved out in June of 2023. I have been in contact since July of 2023. I have sent emails, left messages, came by the office, and called to leave messages to be past on and no responses. I even s3nt a certified letter that was delivered without a response. All I'm looking for is the return of our deposit.Business response

Its going on 3 months and i still Have yet to receive my security deposit refund. Every week i go in there they tell me the same sorry excuse that the owner has to sign the check and he hasnt been in office my next step is going to result in court filings because Im its getting old nowInitial Complaint

I would like to put in a complaint about my building management. I been complaining about the mold and led paint. when I first moved in the apartment and It would rain my apartment would get rained in. I made a complaint several times to them about this problem all they did was patch it up but the problem is still on going. From September 2021 until July 2023. My son has led in his system and I have mold in my bathroom that I complained serval times. But they want their rent payments on . I have pictures and videos from when I first moved in the apartment. My son has a on going rash from this apartment took him to the doctor explained to them about this situation and they said the rash can be from all the damages in the apartment. I want to file a complaint on my building management. I take my son back to the doctor in August 2023 to check his blood levels again. From 2021 to 2023 I been letting the management know and still nothing is getting done now they wanna evict us for late payment of rent but no repairs has been made.Initial Complaint

My security deposit has not been returned . I moved out over 2 months ago and they misplaced one of my money orders knowing the money was still put into their account. Im currently waiting on a ***** security deposit for 2 months now and Im still waitingInitial Complaint

We leased an apartment at ********************** for almost 4 years. We moved out on May 29th, 2022 we cleaned out the apartment and removed all property. We are owed our security deposit and have called several times and left messages and no response. We received a call back a week after we reached out to inform them that we would be moving out but no contact at all with regard to our security deposit. It's not fair and we feel taken advantage of and just want them to do the right thing. We don't want to take legal action but feel like we have no choice.Business response

We have just received the letter via US *************** We are glad to say that we have already returned the security deposit.
