We booked this restaurant, at their ********* location, located at ********************************. in ********* **********. (I could not find that location in your drop-down list). This is the same owner as the restaurant in *********. We were told that a guarantee of 50 people for a rehearsal dinner on 4/9/22,nwould be give us exclusively the main room of the restaurant and no other guests would be seated there. We also selected a menu, with great detail, along with the restaurant manager, *****. ***** told us that children under 5 would be free (or half price). He refused to give us a written contract, although we asked on several occasions. Two weeks before our party he called to say the main room could no longer be guaranteed. The night of our party the restaurant was filled beyond capacity, with many, many, many other guests seated in our private room. There was no attempt to use other space in the restaurant to seat non-party patrons. Additionally, the vast majority of the food that we had carefully selected was not served to us. Instead of giving us falafel, which we had mentioned many times was important to our party, we were given bowls of ziti with pasta sauce out of a jar dumped on it. We were beyond embarrassed in front of our new in-laws, many of our guests got nothing to drink at all, and at the end ***** charged us $50 per person, including several 3 to 5-year-old children, who he claimed ate like adults. We were unable to toast the bride and groom or show the slide show we had worked very hard to produce. None of the prepared toasts and speeches were made because the room was packed with strangers and unbelievably loud . It was horrible and ***** was unapologetic and then demanded payment in full for more guests than we even had. As if at all havent been embarrassing enough, I then had a big argument with him in front of our guests about the ****. We paid the entire ****, and the restaurant got away with ruining our wedding weekend.
