Hello,I wanted to share my recent experience 02/23/2024 at the ********. To begin with, we had our bags checked by security and were asked to discard a water bottle. When we inquired about leaving the bottle at the reception and retrieving it later, we were told it wasn't possible. Then, we were instructed to remove our shoes and walk barefoot around the spa, without flip flops or crocs. I found this concerning for hygiene reasons, especially with the risk of foot fungus and other diseases.Additionally, I was using my phone to post stories on my social media account with music, and the lifeguard informed me that I couldn't have sound on, despite the volume being set to 15%. There were other peculiar restrictions, such as not being able to talk in the saunas, limitations on taking photos in one place for too long, and the lifeguard asking us to move from where we were taking photos with my friend. Most notably, I was confused by the rule that prohibited swimming in the pool, only allowing for slow walking and standing. The food at the cafe was quite tasteless, and the chicken ramen for $20 definitely did not justify its price.Overall, I felt that the staff was not particularly interested in ensuring a pleasant experience for guests and seemed more focused on enforcing rules about walking barefoot and removing flip flops. I left the ******** feeling quite dissatisfied with my time there.

IM LOST OF WORDS! TODAY for VALENTINES DAY. I decided to go spend the time with my boyfriend and I even booked massages for us at 6 PM . However after my massage we decided to go to the jacuzzi on level 4 . We were there for hours and everything was fine until I decided to go towards all the way to the left of the jacuzzi since it was Less crowded . A SOJO spa employee name is pronounced as ******* ( she has short blonde hair and is Hispanic) decided to tell me after Ive been just casually sitting down looking at the view in the water that if me and my boyfriend would like to move a little closer . At first I didnt mind but before I did see someone where I was at so then I was confused why she wanted us to move, In the first place . Less than 5 minutes she decides to come back and say you know the cameras are watching you I said what are we doing ? We are trying to have a good time and you have came here to bother us twice already , she was very rude and made me and my bf feel really uncomfortable after she said just letting you know . After that she was just standing there and watching my bf making it so uncomfortable. Not only did she decide to keep walking back and forth and keep watching us but for hours . It made me feel so uncomfortable that I had to leave. Im just so disappointed that I made a long journey to do something nice and enjoyable to then after all have a terrible experience.

I have a teenage daughter that is heavily autistic and my mother helps me a lot with her. We dont go out because of lack of support. But for my mothers birthday, I asked my son if he could take off 8/05 and come to ** so I could take her to SoJo. I was looking for treatments for her and the 215, 00 dollars one availability were 7PM. Too late for us.Anyways, I booked two shiatzu massage for us , and stated that if my daughter was fine we could spend the rest of the day there. On the day, we got in and I was charged 300,00 dollars. I was under the impression that it was the massage . My fault as I did not read the fine print. We went in, had the massage, and decided to eat. My son said everything was good, so we were discussing to stay . While we are about to figure out what to do, my son contacts me frantic stating that my daughter was running towards oncoming traffic and laying on the middle of the road. I stopped for a few minutes on the phone attempting to redirect her and get her to her baseline . When I noted it was unsuccessful, I got ready to leave. My son advised me that the police was called and they were about to transport her to the hospital and possibly a psych facility. I took off and during check out I paid an additional 407,00. Didnt have the chance to speak to anyone so I left. Later and the next day I called SoJo and requested to speak to a manager. Was on hold for 30 mins and was directed to email. I emailed and explained everything. I received an email today saying pretty much sorry that you didnt stay long enough on our location, but thats nothing we can do. And for that , I give them 1 . The lack of compassion and the greed is appalling. I have police record, videos and pictures to proof, and not even a call to discuss i received. Not everyone can spend 700 on a spa on a day. For them not to even acknowledge that emergency happens, and work with people is insane. That is distasteful and a lack of respect with others. Thank you

I cant even believe what I just experienced. This whole place needs to be shut down. Its beyond poorly managed, over priced and the workers are the rudest bunch Ive ever met. They make you walk around bare foot (yes barefoot and no sandals are provided), and had to wait legitimately 45 minutes for my car through their complimentary valet service. I actually Had to call the cops because I was worried that I wouldnt get my car back.

Ive been coming here for many years but today felt very discriminatory. First time for my daughter and they did not let her in. Shes 16. There was an error in her vaccination card with the year of birth. She presented her Debit Card and I Am her mother establishing her date of birth and she was denied to enter. In the past, there have been children in the facility. The policy has since changed which I understand but when we present debit card with her name, vaccination card with her name, I as mother am stating her actual age, this should be enough for entrance. In the past Ive seen children enter with no issues whatsoever not event a request for ID. Yes indeed it felt very discriminatory and she had a first horrible experience. We will no longer patron this location. Ive celebrated birthdays and other events here with friends and family. We will never do so again.

Dear ********************, We do apologize that you were unable to visit with us the other day. As you noted, we do have a strict age policy of 16 years and older. Our team did try to work with you and your daughter to find any additional documentation (social media posts, school portal, etc.) that could verify your claim. Unfortunately, since you were unable to produce any further documentation, we did have to deny entry and issue a full refund. We do apologize, however, we stand by our team's decision.

I have traveled with my children all over the world. Never once have I had to produce a passport other than an airport. You requested a school portal. The portal does not have her date of birth. YOU DID NOT REQUEST SOCIAL MEDIA POST. Now that is DISHONEST and insulting to a much grave experience already. I am her mother, I would not say that is her age unless it truly is. I have personal accounts of other "children" entering the premises but they do not look like me or my daughter. As a patron of many years, I will look for similar experiences elsewhere. This apology is not enough.

Disappointed that the spa has what appears to be an elaborate lost and found system. There was a sign instructing us to remove jewelry prior to entering a specific room. Following instructions, I removed my favorite pair of earrings and put them in a robe pocket. I accidentally left the earrings in the pocket when I turned the robe in. I realized I didn't have my earring before I exited the spa. I was given the lost and found information after going back to search and not locating the earrings. I subsequently followed up by filing a report, calling, and emailing on multiple occasions. I even sent pictures. Despite having notified the facility within minutes of loosing the earrings, they were never located. 1. Removing all jewelry is information that should be told to customers at the beginning and should be posted in the locker rooms where we could safely store the items in our lockers. 2. The earrings were not small and should have been easily seen when the robes were shaken, as we were told is standard practice. Very disappointed and not sure if I'll ever return due to how this turned out!
