we gave the company a $2300.00 credit card deposit to have a existing awning installed. they made an appointment to send a crew out and my husband took a day off from work. the cancelled that morning due to flooding in their office. they rescheduled for the following week and my husband took another day off only to get a call that morning to tell us their crew never showed up. the following week my husband took his 3rd day off only to have their crew show up with out a promised electrician. when these 2 guys say the job they said there was no way it could be done. they said they were never told that they had to remove an existing awning and they did not have the tools so they would have to come back. that is when my husband said he was cancelling. he could not get anyone at the office. we contacted our credit card company to dispute this. unfortunately our credit card company believed their lies and we are out $2300.00. if we don't get a full refund our next step is to take them to court.Business response

Nino (owner) has left 2 messages for Mr. ***** ******* on 12-17-21 & 12-20-21 to discuss the situation. Mr. ******* did not answer or return his calls.
We are trying to work this out but Mr. ******* is not responding.
We are now requesting that the BBB contact us at ************ to help us settle this matter.

I am rejecting this response because:
we were told they had a top notch "crew" only to be sent two guys who were unprofessional and clueless. I do not feel comfortable have this company do any work for us. I request a full refund.

Dear *****************,
Our installers have 12 plus years experience installing retractable awnings. When they arrived at your home to install, the brackets that are currently in your roof from your previous awning is tarred in so tight that it could not be removed. This situation created another alternative to install your new awning. Our installers did not have the parts on their truck to modify the install needed.
With this said, we can issue you a credit on your contract for the roof brackets that are not needed for this new install for the amount of $200.00. This would leave a balance due of $2150.00.
