I have been paying premiums to Allstate for many years through Pratibha Katariya. I recently had an accident that was completely not my fault. The two doors of my car were damaged and needed replacement. However, the other party's insurer (Geico) is underinsured. Unfortunately, they stated that their $25,000 coverage will not be enough to repair my car, as the collision center provided a preliminary estimate of $26,000. As a result, ***** deemed my car a total loss and offered to pay me $24,000 (after deducting rental costs), stating that they couldn't cover any more. Geicos initial estimate for the repairs was $20,500.They then reached out to my insurance company, Allstate, where Ive been paying my premiums. Allstate claimed that my car (Tesla Model 3) could be repaired for $12,000. I have no idea how they arrived at that estimate. I consulted other Tesla-certified collision centers, and they all agreed that the car could never be fixed for $12,000. The collision shop also charges storage and inspection fees, which Allstate has indicated they will not cover. This is ridiculous.Allstate has not been able to come to an agreement with the collision shop, accusing them of overcharging. This is completely inaccurate, as Geicos estimate was $20,500. Allstate refuses to negotiate and has indicated that any additional costs to repair the car will be my responsibility. Geico also mentioned that any payments could be subrogated through Allstate. Allstate has nothing to lose here, but wanted not to fix my car, neither call it a s total loss. Allstate refuses to cooperate with anyoneGeico, me, or the collision shop. Their estimator, claim adjuster, and everyone from AllStatehave displayed such an arrogant attitude. I have already filed a complaint with the ********************* and am prepared to file a lawsuit, as I have nothing to lose at this point.NEVER CHOOSE ALLSTATETHEY CUT CORNERS AND CHEAT THEIR CUSTOMERS!
