Yesterday Feb 17th I booked a 10:15 appointment at Top Golf in ****** **. The drive for me is 1.5 hours. We loaded up the car around 6:30pm and headed out. We were planning on arrival and having dinner then doing some golfing around our schedule time. Upon arrival we found a long line of people and walked up to the door to find they were closed due to a power outage that happened sometime around 7pm maybe even sooner. We were told 9pm would be opening up but all reservations were cancelled. 9pm came and went then were told closed for the night. We wasted almost 4 hours of our time driving and sitting around and not one phone call went out or an email to informed us of what had happened. We wasted gas money and other such expenses. Top Gold upon experiencing the outage should have sent a mass email or phone call to all that had reservation of the outage or the inconvenience that took place so to inform the customers. Instead, nothing was done, and we totally wasted our evening. Not to mention I booked the reservation using my credit card and now I will get charged interest for the amount of the deposit. I believe Top Gold owes us more then a refund on our deposit. An apology, maybe a free hour of play to be used at a later time or even reimbursement for travel expenses. This cannot simply happen again. If a large group of people were coming from a distance there would have been major issues. Top Golf needs to have something in place in case this happens so they can informed the customers and avoid people showing up to a closed location. Emails phone calls something needs to be done to avoid this happening again. People from ** are not the only people that come to use the facility.
