I contracted with **** for a cleaning service. Several people contacted me for the job and I accepted one. I was in contact with her up until the time of the cleaning. The day of the cleaning, another contractor contacted me saying she took the job. I never spoke to her, only to the person I accepted. The cleaning job was for April 8, at 12:00. My contact showed up and did the job very well. I called **** to tell about the woman I knew nothing about and the customer service person kept saying the same thing over and over until I told her she was not listening to me. I did not contract with the person she said, I did with the one who called me (an independent of ****). She kept arguing with me and said she would schedule another date, when I said no, I do not want another date, I have someone here doing the job. The ref. # is ********. I cancelled the 2nd job, but **** charged me anyway, $223 and change. In the meantime, I had to pay the independent contractor who did the job. I just want the refund done as I never agreed to their 2nd contractor.Initial Complaint

I had a dangerous situation with my electric breaker box, and needed it replaced, as it was arcing, and I was afraid of it causing a fire. I contacted many electricians who were too busy to come, so I panicked and contacted Angies services with my cell phone. I DID set up an appt, but then a contractor from a previous call I made did the replacement of my panel. Being as I had NO power, and my cell phone charger was frayed and I couldn't call to cancel my appt with *****, not to mention I had to stay at a hotel for the night, I was VERY distraught and nervous, when the next day came I had to go home to meet with my contractor. NOT AN ***** CONTRACTOR !!! MINE ! ..anyway, I had to check my account to see my balance with the hotel room fee taken out, and I saw that ***** had dipped into my bank account, ( I THOUGHT they were all I HAD at the time I gave them my info).. they just TOOK ****** right OUT of my account !! NO services rendered at all, no mention of any specific estimate, NOTHING !! I even had to change my card at the bank because they told me when I complained about ***** that the charge would be RECURRING even, if I didn't ! Needless to say I want my MONEY back !!! I contacted them, got a call from *****, when I went to listen to the message it said '**********' and that was it , the connection stopped (??), but otherwise I have not heard anything. PLEASE look into this, this is a LOT of money for me !!!! ..especially now that I have to pay MY electrical contractor a LOT still. It's JUST such an OUTRAGE !
