          Refund and Exchange Policy

          • Most of the insurance companies offer a 30-day free-look period for the policy, after it is approved / enforced / becomes active. During that Free-Look time period, the insured can make certain adjustments or changes towards the policy if he or she sees something that he/she will rather add to the policy or omit from the policy that was applied for.  Hence, that 1st month's premium made to the insurance carrier will be refunded in full to the payor, if the insured chooses to cancel the policy and not obtain continued coverage, within the Free-Look period of that insurance carrier. 

            An insured can make a 1035 exchange of a prior insurance policy to obtain a different or new insurance policy, with the submission of the relevant documents requested by the insurance carrier. The Life Insurance Carrier underwriters will make that final decision of the exchange being accepted or not. (Insurance policy=insurance policy and annuity policy = annuity policy).
