I bought a car on Feb 8,2024. Paid dealer fee and DMV fee which includes the registration and title processing and the payment for that service. After one month I still didnt receive any plates. The temporary plate they gave me is expired now and I cant drive the car without registration. No updates provided or phone calls. Emails remains unanswered. After 7 th phone call they said it may take up to 4-5 months to get the plate. Next day they said there is a back up at DMV. That statement is not true. There isnt any back up work mentioned in DMV website or when I called DMV. Now I cant drive my car anymore. But still have to make payments and carpool to work.Initial Complaint

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Maserati Englewood Cliffs. I purchased a car from them on 2/28/23 and have yet to receive the registration for my vehicle. The temporary registration that they provided me with has since expired on 3/29/23, leaving me unable to drive my car legally. Despite repeated attempts to contact the dealership, I have not received any satisfactory response regarding the status of my car registration. The dealership's solution of providing a notarized letter that asks law enforcement to send all summons to the dealership is unacceptable to me. I refuse to rely on a document that is not a legal document or a substitute for proper registration. This situation has caused me great inconvenience, as I have been unable to drive my car for over a month now. I demand immediate action from Maserati Englewood Cliffs. I need the car registered in my name now.
