In late December 2022 I purchased a certified 2019 Subaru outback from Englewood Subaru **************************************************************. My previous Subaru, which I purchased new in 2019 had been totaled and I felt fortunate to find the exact model and color for sale there. Since it was some distance from my home, I communicated a number of times with the sales person at the dealership via email and repeatably asked for confirmation that the vehicle was not damaged. I was told that besides normal wear and tear, there were no areas of damage on the car. When I went to pick up the vehicle, it was parked in the shade in front of the dealership. I looked it over and only found a ding in the front fender, which I was able to accommodate. I took the car home and about a week later when I went to wash it, I noticed a number of ripples in the sheet metal below the two passenger side doors, which had become obvious now that the car was in the sun. Not knowing what to think about it, I took it to a body shop for them to evaluate it. They told me that the car had obviously been hit and that the sheet metal had rippled along a support bar within the structure of the doors, and to correct this issue would cost upwards of $3000. It is beyond my comprehension that damage such as this was unknown to the dealership, who certified the car after lengthy inspections and examinations both while on the lift and during detailing. It is my belief that the dealership was aware of this damage and that they made a conscious choice not to disclose it in spite of my asking specifically about such damage, then further aggravated their behavior by their assertion that there was no damage to the car. I contacted the dealership to try to find remedy for the issue and was basically told too bad. I feel that I have been bilked and would like to find a more satisfactory solution to this issue.

My car was taken to towne audi after a minor accident with another vehicle. Towne audi has been absolutely horrible. The body shop that they use is very rude and deceitful. They claimed my car has frame damage but that is not even physically possible due to the fact that was not in an accident that can warrant that type of damage. the body shop and the dealership's service department is outright lying to buy themselves time to drag their feet on repairs. The service manager even had the nerve to piggy back on the notion that the car has frame damage and it needed to be "fixed" prior to installing and painting the new door and existing bumper. This service department is a circus and they are outright lying. I live 25 miles away from my place of work and need my car back this week. The service advisor **** has an "oh well what can I do" attitude and takes hours to call me back. As of today (3/7/2022) I requested the service manager call me to speak to me directly around 12pm today, its now 3:06pm and I have yet to be called.
