I hired them to install a fence. They took a $650 deposit and promised to do the job within weeks. A year later the job isn't done and they fail to refund my deposit. They keep telling me the check is in the mail but it never arrives.Initial Complaint

I am the executor for ************************* of the address mentioned above. In Aug 2021, he gave the company $1000 for fencing. **** and now me have been trying all this time to get the fencing. The one proof I do have is that the company got a building permit in Aug. 2021 There have been innumerable calls with promises and now the company does not pick up the phone at all! And has no voice mail! The house is going on the market soon but will be held back because the pool needs fencing around it. A portion is missing and that is what **** and now me have been waiting for for over one year. I would like this matter to be resolved and hopefully with a refund of the money; or my next steps to resolve this. As far as documentation, so far I can only give you attempts at phone calls and promises and the building permit. I and my wife are still going through the paperwork as both **** and his wife died within 3 weeks of each other, unexpectedly. Please let me know what else I have to do to take care of this. On July 6 , 2021 signed a contract to have wayside replace the fence at my home . After numerous conversations and the company stating there was no material to complete the job I cancelled the contract Aug of 2022 and requested a refund . I gave contacted them every 3 days for 9 weeks and was told they would have. Check for me Oct 5 in my mailbox I stopped by their office and they are unable or unwilling to refund my **** dollars . I signed a contract with wayside fence on October of 2019 . I gave them a deposit of $1700 . Its been 2./1/2 years they still owe me 900 dollars. They never did my fence because of the lack of wood available. Every week was a different excuse . I left over 20 messages . They wont pay the rest of my deposit. What should I do.?Initial Complaint

Contract dated 7/12/21. Check sent 8/2/21 in the amount of $621.10. Contract stated availability in 12 weeks. Since the 12 weeks expired have made numerous calls to the company. These have been met with empty promises and numerous excuses. Since I am 81 years old I do not text and cannot prove the calls. However, on. 2/24/22 I did send a certified letter - return receipt requested. Also no response. Have also left comments on their contact info site. Thanking you in advance for your help in this matter.
