On July 82, 2023, we purchased unit Serial# ********* at ****** Bayamon west PR. I purchased the air conditioner in March of 2024 it stopped working in August of 2024. I contacted warranty support went back and forth with them for several days in the dead of Summer only for them to come back and say that I had purchased a refurbished unit. I purchased a set of geek aire (geek technologies) fans last year from *** that came with a 1 year warranty. The fans stopped working properly and I contacted their warranty department. The warranty folks asked me to provide them a with the details of the purchase and a video of the fans not working properly I did so and was then told I would be receiving a check for the price I paid for the fans. This was back in April. I still have not recieved a check and every time I call, and I have called several times, I am told they are waiting for customer support to cut the check. My case number for this is *******. The refund amount should be 36.21. My original order number from *** was ********** and he order was placed on May 27 2023.Initial Complaint

Emerson Quiet Kool air conditioner stops cooling within 1 year. The customer service rep at ************** said they don't have a warranty contract with the company and no additional contact for Emerson. It seems that Emerson has vanished, other than to sell products they no longer support or service. I'll never buy another product from them.Initial Complaint

The Emerson Quiet Kool Dehumidifier (I purchased from **** *** on 4/20/24) was missing a part. The Pump drain connector was not included with the product/accessories as indicated on the box and Owners Manual. I attempted to contact Emerson Quiet Kool by calling the customer service number provided in their Warranty document, and was told EQK had "cancelled their contract with the customer service company and no new referral information was available." I was advised to "contact the store", and did contact **** *** on April 29th. **** *** promised to order the missing part, I never received it and received no follow-up communication. Subsequently, the manager at **** *** told me it was not their responsibility because I had not returned the product within the 14-day window and I was advised to pursue resolution by contacting the company/manufacturer (EQK) directly. Again, I found that Emerson Quiet Kool does not provide a valid means of contact or pursuit of Warranty Claims; their phone number and email address are both invalid. I have included documents showing the invalid contact information. I believe I deserve a return/refund for the faulty product. More importantly, Emerson Quiet Kool should not be permitted to continue selling products to consumers without also providing meaningful Customer Service, and should not be permitted to falsely represent that they provide a Warranty on their consumer products.Initial Complaint

I purchased an Emerson Quiet Kool ***** BTU window air conditioner from Overstock.com (now BedBathandBeyond.com) in August of 2022. The advertised warranty states 1 year labor, 2 years parts, 5 years compressor. My air conditioner is not cooling, so I believe the problem is the compressor. I have tried MULTIPLE phone numbers to contact Emerson and reached dead ends. I contacted BBandB again today and was given a phone number for Emerson customer service *************). The representative told me that they are no longer able to service the warranties for Emerson, that "they" (Emerson ***) are re-opening a new customer service number "sometime in August". No date or phone number was available. My warranty for parts expires on 8/12, so I fear that I'll be given the runaround if the new Emerson customer service line is not reopened by then. This is a pretty straightforward issue (unit not cooling) and should be relatively simple to rectify. The unit was $632.43 and we would really like for it to either work or be returned/exchanged. On march 19,2024 I purchased an Emerson quiet kool 350 sq ft 3 in one portable air conditioner with remote online from the **** *** website. I used it as a fan for the first couple months and when it got hotter at the beginning of June realized the cooling feature was malfunctioning. It would turn off immediately or a few minutes after randomly, not cool the room and other times would work fine. As I was past the return date, Best Buy referred me to my warranty, which states “ Exclusive 1-2-5 warranty Your Emerson Quiet Kool Wi-fi enabled air conditioner comes with an industry-exclusive 1-2-5 warranty that covers 1 year of labor, 2 years of parts, and 5 years on the compressor. Buy and use with confidence.” Unfortunately I played phone tag for a couple hours, was given multiple different numbers to call, only to find out Emerson quiet kool has terminated their contract and they can’t help me further other than to try calling back July 1st. There was no forwarding information, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied. Today on July 1st I contacted them again. I was told the same thing with no update. They told me the only solution is I could try calling back every day until there’s an answer. I asked why I was told July 1st, he didn’t know. I don’t feel it’s fair that this business has shut down for over a month, with nowhere to go for help. **** *** also is unwilling to help, and if they repair the ac themselves it voids my warranty with Emerson and they might not even be able to order the parts. At this point by the time this is resolved it will no longer be summer, or my warranty will be up!Initial Complaint

Timeline and Summary of Issue with Emerson Air Conditioner Purchase I am writing to request urgent assistance in obtaining a replacement for a failed air conditioner unit I recently purchased. Details of Purchase: • Date of Purchase: June 4, 2024 • Product: EMERSON QUIET KOOL 15,000 BTU 115V Window AC with Remote (model EARC15RE1) • Price: $712.79 Product Failure: • Issue: After proper installation through my wall, the unit worked for only one week before completely failing. Attempts to Resolve: • ***** *******: Called the Emerson support number included with the air conditioner packaging (###-###-####) and was informed that Emerson no longer contracts with that company for support. • Website Issue: The website www.****************.com, included in the packaging, is non-functional. Complications: • Replacement Requirement: Since this unit is installed through my wall, I cannot remove the failed one until I have the replacement model on hand and ready to install. • Support Issues: The lack of operational support phone numbers and a functional website has made it impossible to obtain warranty support or a replacement. Request: I need Emerson to ship me a new unit of the exact same model as a warranty replacement as soon as possible. Within the last week or so I have been unable to use the *** associated with my Sensi Thermostats. **************** confirmed a new *** was rolled out that I cannot use now. This functionality is the reason why I purchased these thermostats to begin with and it has since been taken away. The answer was to upgrade my phone which is not possible. This company has made a decision to upgrade an *** knowing customers will loose the functionality they initially paid for. **************** admitted to fielding similar calls as mine, but not at a significant volume so they do not see a problem with taking product functionality away from consumers because it is "only a small amount." I am left with 2 of their products that no longer operate as purchased due to the decision to not include prior Android version compatability with new *** rollouts. This issue will reoccur every so many years if their decision making process does not change. In the end, consumers are loosing the most attractive functionality these products offered. Their customer service is attempting to escalate this, but stated I have no options. My only option would be to get a new phone with higher android version. They certainly could have made provisions in the development phase to include all previous customers. I now have a product that was stripped of the very function that attracted me to it in the first place. They are aware of other customers in the same situation as me and stated that on the call with customer service, but then stated nothing can be done for our issue outside of new android version. I refuse to believe this knowing that their are technical solutions. If this is allowed to be the case, comsumers of their products will repeatedly get ripped off and forced into a situation where they have to continually upgrade to maintain a function they initially received with the purchase. I would not have purchased this product, nor will I ever again with this fleecing of consumers.Initial Complaint

had an Emerson portable air conditioner and after 4 years it died. It was still under warranty. I filed for a replacement. I was told to have it inspected which I did and paid $50.00 for it and sent the for off to them. After a few weks of back and forth I got the company that insoected it to contact them. They sent me an e-mail saying they would replace it and it would take a couple weeks to get it. Its now been about 5 months. They stopped returning my calls and the last time I talked to them the women said the warehouse has not read her e-mail yet. This was into the third month. I asked her to call them she said she is can't call them. I asked to speak to her manager and was told she is not there. I asked for her to call me when she gets back and was told she can't call me. I asked for a Corporate contact and was told she did not have that info. I wrote a letter the the address of the quiet cool division office which is on the web site addressed to the man who they name as President. The letter was returned because of a bad address.
