i went to *************** in january 2023 then followed up with his partner ******************* both with essex podiatry. there was no problem with accepting my insurance as it was in network.later i was informed by my insurance the office ****** submitted to the wrong insurance co. its been about 4 months now and all 4 visits are still not corrected. i keep being told 3 or 4 times now by this company they are going to straighten out the billing . I have not seen an the doctors because of this and told the ******************* and to date still nothng is being done.Initial Complaint

I paid a deposit of $1000 on a surgery completed in April of 2021. Although all hospital and specialist bills have been paid, the deposit has not been returned to me. I assumed I would be returned the money, but after several months it became apparent that the company would just keep the money that they owed me unless I followed up. I have been calling for the past month, and have to wait on hold for ***** minutes every time to receive the same scripted response that they will review the account. Its become quite obvious that there is no action being taken, as they have already held on to my money for almost a year.If I ask to speak to a supervisor, I am given a disingenuous response that they are in a meeting. I have repeatedly asked for an account statement, and still have not been provided one. They refuse to provide an estimated time for resolution, and have not attempted to call back despite repeated assurances that they would. It is apparent that they can not be trusted with their scripted phone responses, which are designed to give callers the runaround in hopes they will eventually give up so that the company can keep their unearned deposit. The lack of attention to customers is truly frightening, particularly from a party involved in health care. I am seeking an immediate return of my entire deposit of $1,000.
