I purchased a Power XL Model MFC-AF-6C Air Fryer at Belks on 7/28/23 that came with an offer for a free fry basket advertised on the company box. I followed the instructions on the box/advertisement, scanned the QR code, and learned that the basket was unavailable and on back order. I called the Customer Care number six weeks later and was told the same thing and to try again in six weeks. I called every couple of months but got the same answer. I was finally told last week by a customer care person that the basket will not be available...ever!! I asked how was it possible that they advertised something and then not follow through? She repeated that this was the message they were told to give. I asked if any consideration was being given to compensate customers that purchased this item with the promise of the free basket, and she ****rmed me that the company would be doing nothing in place of the broken promise. I wrote and requested something be done but got the same response, product not available. I can't believe a company would make a promise, a contract of sorts because there was an offer and consideration, and not do something to compensate the aggrieved party when the contract was broken by the company. Nor do I want to believe that the company would engage in false advertising by stating an untruth or misleading the consumer into buying this product. I told them this in an email. I hoped the company would do something to make things right and not engage in deceptive business practices. I would have purchased a different fryer if not for this offer. Contacting them is confusing as they have various contacts listed: ****@**************.*** ***-***-**** directed me to support.powerxlproducts.com which directed me to **********************@**************.*** ***-***-****. Case#********. They also list ******@******************.*** but I didn't try them.

On 5/2 I placed an order on the PowerXL website to purchase the Luminex Airfryer. This is the SECOND TIME. I attempted to purchase this machine. The first time I waited for approximately three weeks with no delivery of my order. When I called them they said that this machine was "OUT OF STOCK." They never bothered to notify me of that fact. So I demanded that that order be cancelled. For the 2nd time, on 5/2/24, I attempted to purchase this order. A week as past and I have not received this order. I called several times and have received the runaround from this company. Several times they stated it was shipped and I would receive it in a couple of days. Then they told me to check Fed Ex Website. I checked and Fed Ex has not received this product and it has been a week. I requested a return on my first payment. They claim they couldn't do that. If I have no product and they have my money, THEY CAN VERY WELL RETURN MY MONEY. Also it was suppose to be 4 payments of $29.99. They charged me $40.64 for the first payment without explaination.

while i was cooking a small pork roast in my power xl the top burner started sparking. I was in the kitchen when this happened so i was able to remove the roast from the power xl. The roast had been in the power xl for about 10 minutes. I was able to transfer the roast to my regular oven which I didnt have a choice other than that or throw it away. I have only had this power xl for a few months, I bought it from ***** for 129.99. plus tax I would like a refund. I dont think I will safe with another power xl

I received an email on 12/28/2023 that there was a recall on my air fryer, and I should cut the cord and discontinue use of the appliance. I received instructions on how to submit registration for a refund of ****** for my DUAL-10. I submitted my registration along with the required picture of the cut cord and received a confirmation email (#******). The email says it will take 72 hours for my refund to be processed. It has been a month, and I have not received any type of communication. When I call Im told its still processing. I think this is a scam, and I will need to be reimbursed for a new air fryer.

Purchased a power xl air fryer from target. Upon trying to use I realized the unit does not work at all. I then reached out and was told to send an email with a few photos and picture of the receipt, I then did that. Shortly after I receive an email back saying I should return the item to target and they can’t help me. (I did try returning to target with no such luck) Lastly I reach back out one last time (via phone call) and get ahold of SHANIA who says she’s the manager of customer service then proceeds to ask for more photos to be emailed. I then email the photos as requested and she has left me with no response again

I purchased a 10qt Power XL Air Fryer on 12/22/22 from Target. The unit stopped working in the midst of my second use. I contacted Tristar for a replacement and I was informed that I would have to send the unit back at my cost. That is totally unacceptable for a defective product. I could understand if I just decided I didnt want the item anymore, but that is not the case. Why would I be charged to send a company back their defective product. That is absurd and is taking advantage of the customer. What is the harm is sending a prepaid so that the company could correct their mistake?
