      Inspire Bath renovated our bathroom Aug. 26, 2021, after 4 days discoloration of the caulk in one corner of the bathroom appeared. One of their guys came over to recaulk the discolored part of the bathroom. After few days again the discoloration came out again and again somebody came over to redo it but after 30 minutes or so the discoloration came out again. Since then they have not rescheduled the recaulking of the discolored part of the bathroom. I paid almost $9,000 for this project and this is what I get. I was told by the owner, his name is **** that they will schedule it last week but until now I have not heard any updates.

      After redoing the caulking again - with the same result, we are doing research with the manufacturer of the silicone to see if theyve experienced the same thing. I am awaiting a response before doing the caulking again. There is no point of redoing it for a third time if we dont have the proper diagnosis.  We will gladly be in touch to schedule the recaulk at that point.  The good thing is ***************** has a fully functional shower to use in the interim. Thank you for your business.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      This has been their response for the past 2 months. In fact , the owner promised that they will reschedule the caulking last week, and later on texted me that they still do not know yet when they can schedule the job. 

      Also, just because we have a functional shower to use, does this mean to say that Inspire Bath can just redo the caulking  job any time they want? I paid $8,995.00 for this bathroom. The issue of us having a working bathroom is besides the point. A satisfactory job is all what I wanted. What if they decide to this after a year or so? Every time we use the shower, we are looking at the discolored corner and how gross it is to be looking at because of the discoloration. If it Inspire Bath need  to redo the whole bathroom, I do not mind the inconvenience as long as it is being done the earliest-possible time.

      Inspire Baths went to the customers home and removed and replaced the discolored chalking after we received the first call about it discoloring.  It discolored again after the second time we did the chalking. we thought at first it may be hard Iron water.  We were going to go out and replace the chalking for the third time when we realized the showroom display that we used the same chalking on was discoloring also.  We then realized it's not the water but the product.

      Inspire Baths did contact ****************** and let him know that we contacted the manufacturer regarding this happening with their product and are now waiting to hear back from them regarding what we can use to correct this problem.  ****************** is well aware of this and we plan on going back to his home to fix this issue once we know what we can use so this problem does  not occur again.

      I am rejecting this response because: As of this writing, Inspire Bath has never reached out as to when they will redo the caulking of our bathroom. The discoloration is getting worse everyday and it seems that they are taking it for granted. They should at least give a time frame as to when they will do the job.

      I do not understand the rejection.  we were in touch with the customer, he is aware that the same thing happened to our display in our showroom and that we got in touch with manufacturer regarding this issue and we are awaiting the response from them on how to rectify this issue for our client and us.  Until we hear back from the manufacturer, coming out and replacing the caulking for a third time would be futile since we know the same issue would happen again.  To disparage us of something that is out of our control is demeaning to our company and workmanship.  This issue is correctable, all we ask for  is the time and understanding since we are at the same mercy of the manufacturer as the client is.
