We were referred to them by our lawyer. What a fantastic referral that proved to be. First they worked with my brother, who was executor for a very complex estate, and the attorney directly. They then did personal returns: two different state returns and one federal return, for myself and my brother. This firm and these two accountants are top notch. They are experienced, knowledgeable, straightforward, clear, and good listeners. An excellent electronic portal system makes it very easy to get them your documents if you don't have the time to go into the office. If you, as I, get distracted by planning a memorial service and a migraine and are about to miss an important deadline with possible costly consequences, never fear! You will be reminded so the task is done timely. They have turned around requests in weeks, rather than months with my previous accountant. They also handled a regional business concern that we had been erroneously told time and time again that people in this part of the country lacked experience in and would not be able to deal with. Our old accountant, who the family used for over 20 years, was good, but then became evasive, becoming extremely hard to reach and even missing IRS and state tax deadlines. This firm not only does as good or better job than she did in the beginning, they charge us far less than she did. It is all very pleasant and really gives you peace of mind to work with this family team.
