    i purchased a new 2023 Cadillac CT5 from open road. after 3 months the service safety restraint light came on. the car would beep just about once a minute regardless of how long i was driving. i brought it into open road for service. they looked at it and could not fix the issue. i was told i would have to leave it overnight and the dealership would not offer a loaner car. i did not have the time to do so then so i took the car and continued to drive it. the constant beeping drove me crazy. i had to rearrange my schedule to drop the car off on Monday July 24. I called on Wednesday for status and was told by the service manager that he ordered the needed part from Cadillac who then in turn canceled the order. He would have to replace a new order. i was so fed up with the poor customer service i went to GM corporate on July 26 and was assigned case # SR:9-10357411524. Thus far that has gotten me nowhere. I was told after a few days I could rent a GM car from eneterprise and apply for reimbursement. By the time I was able to get there they had no GM cars at all. I have been out of a car now 16 days. I am forced to inconvenience my wife and children so that I have access to one of their cars. I finally got a call from open road after 10 days stating my car is unsafe to drive. I asked for an eta and was told "I have no idea. could be days, weeks, months." I then followed up on the case to GM and said I am so fed up with the horrendous service and lack of regard for my time and money spent on a brand new car that I am requesting a full refund for what was paid. I do not want the car back. I do not want to wait any longer. Cadillac is not standing by their product. I have never experienced worse customer service. Give me my money back and I will buy a different brand car and NEVER come back to GM.

    First time for everything including a bad review! ********************** came highly recommended through a excellent source. I called that source and she was shocked to say the least and very apologetic. Unfortunately, ******* was playing the game like most other ppl in the business. Been texting/corresponding for over 2 wks now. I give my deposit of $4k on this demo. Beforehand, I was told although, it was a demo car it was in mint,brand new condition w/ 6k miles on it. Although, skeptical i decided to take a chance on it.On 5/22, I drove 60 miles to pick up the car, do a walk around, realized it was in beat up condition.2 rims damaged,2 tires damaged, scuff and scratch marks on different areas of the car. Apparently this seems to be the only dealership to my knowledge that doesn't review/check the condition of a car upon arrival before customer purchases. ******* and manager tell me didn't know about this...embarrassed rightfully so, tell me let's see how we can make this up to you, make it better..I wait around sales manager finds me a CT4 in ** (as they have 19 dealerships) , supposedly this time a brand new car, Midnight Sky color, zero mileage which will supposedly be delivered to my doorstep. I was even given the paper showing me all pricing and car specs info.They thanked me for my willingness to give them a 2nd opportunity to do business w/ them. However, next day today, 5/23 I receive a call from ******* telling me that his GM said my car was sold, therefore, I'd have to pick from a Black, Silver or Grey. How much more BS can they tell me? I was done and said give me back my $4,000 deposit . I gave a deposit which means the car was mine.. SHAME SHAME SHAME on this dealership! Let's not forget a bad reputation spreads quicker than a good one!
