**********. THIEFS that pry on people's situation.A signed contract for $8,500.Then upon removing the old roof. His worker whom we thought was the owner, only to find out the owner is *******************. Stated it would be an additional $6,000 MORE, why? all they did was cover the original wood with The sheets of mdf and put the rest on. THEY NEVER REPLACED the original 1 inch wood. How do they SLEEP at night knowing they're SCAMMING clients out of their hard earned money. And they don't have their own employees, they use another group of what we call *********** type day laborers and probably take advantage of them with their salary.In my line of work. We tell people whom are good companies and whom TO NEVER HIRE.So with this said.DON"T HIRE THEM.They can't say the didn't get paid CAUSE THEY GOT TWO CHECKS FOR THE FULL AMOUNT. Use this company to do a roof replacement on 3/8/2022. I can never imagine a company being such dishonest and deceitful. First, Ray, the boss of this company, lied to us that the proposal I signed is the contract. On the installation day, when they opened the roof they lied again on my roof's situation without telling us the kitchen area did not need any plywood until I found out. For the areas of planking deck that need add plywood, he charged us $8000 for 55 pieces of 3/8CAT sheathing wood which I later found in ********** is around 35$ each piece. With the rain and snow predicted at night, I have no choice but to agree them to proceed. He also changed the roof shingle brand we asked without letting us know until I found out. He then explained he changed the brand because this brand is better than the brand we chose. I really regret to believe this guy in the beginning. Filed a complaint to ********** ****************************, and working with my lawyer to file a lawsuit against this company.

************************* hired our company to install a new roof and while ripping off the roof our tech saw the plywood was bad. That is not something we would have known about prior unless we lifted the roofs shingles.The customer was given the price and agreed.He asked for a payment plan and to give us post dated checks.Non of the checks he gave are valid. And he hasnt paid anything for the work that has been done.We are a reputable roofing/Home Improvement Contractor and just want to be paid in full for the job. We gave an itemized breakdown of the cost.The cost of plywood/lumber has gone up astronomically and keeps going up everyday. If he didnt want to have the plywood done he did not have to- he could have said no instead of agreeing and giving post dated checks for the plywood work to be completed.Customer Response

A few things here. First, Ray lied to us on the roof shingle brand. We chose the *** brand which is a more popular brand to new homeowners like us, but Ray changed it into the other brand in the proposal and never notified us anything. Second, when the roof was open, Ray never told us that our kitchen area did not need any plywood. All we got is the whole roof needs plywood and the price is for the whole roof. I called him twice later that day arguing these issues separately. Talk with someones who were working with him then, you should figure out. Third, take a look at the invoice of the sheathing wood installed on our roof. The price of this sheathing plywood in ********** I found in a few days is $35 apiece and $31 for bulk price, how much Ray charged? I was so determined to fight this out, but I become a ********* recently and now I choose to forgive him. Once you send me the updated real contract, I will take this review down and write you the remaining balance of $7000. My final word is I wish he can do the business in a better way in the future and God bless you!
