Lawnmower picked up for service 2/21/24. Multiple calls and frequent delays in service completion with ultimate hostility from owner, ************. Onoperation (4/6, lawnmower was finally returned 4/5), the front-end burst into flames within minutes, requiring emergency response. Initial Complaint

4/17 I dropped off my lawn mower for repair and 'asked ' for an estimate , I received no ticket or receipt ,no charges were posted ,[ hourly costs, estimate charges etc] I phoned Borries approx 2- weeks later whats happening [they said not looked at ]and I said dont forget my estimate.,, 3 weeks later I stop in and speak to girl in charge and inquire about my mower stll not looked at ,I tell her dont forget my estimate ! June 5 [ 7 weeks later ]my wife receives a call from Borries my mower is done and costs $137 ! I call back and say you never called and gave me an estimate ! Same girl says you never asked for one . I said I asked 3 times . I'm not paying for the repair i didnt authorize , She said estimates costs $50 ,which I was never told or wasn't posted .So she said your not picking it up then and she hung up on me . Unfair business practice and there was No Charges Sign posted for hour or min rate or estimate charges . Now I'm out my mower because they went ahead without my approval
